"Dee is an actress/ stand-up comedienne. What a combination, she started doing stand-up comedy in 2001. After being bitten by the acting bug, she had never been on stage before but had a really good time and discovered that she would not burst into flames if she got on a stage in front of actual people. Comedy is the last thing that Dee ever thought she would be doing; it was that thing she would always wanted to try but did not have the guts to try. Dee has performed with local community theaters, including Schenectady Light Opera Company, Home Made Theater, Albany Civic Theater, Schenectady Civic Theater and Our Own Productions.
Dee Watson has also had the privilege of directing a little known play entitled, "Periphery", by playwright Ed Simpson for Our Own Productions. Dee has performed stand-up comedy at many local venues, including The Comedy Works and Proctor's Theater. Dee has been featured on News Channel 13 in a "Today's Woman Segment" with Elaine Houston. She has also had the pleasure of being invited to perform at The Chicago Women's Funny Festival."
