- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We take pride in providing competitive, fair, and transparent pricing. Our quotes are never inflated, but also never “too cheap” — because quality work requires fair value. We’ve built our reputation on honesty, craftsmanship, and integrity, not on making a quick score. We’re flexible and collaborative when it comes to budgets. If your budget is realistic, we’ll always do our best to make it work — whether that means re-evaluating materials, adjusting scope, or finding cost-effective alternatives to keep your project on track without compromising quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by scheduling an initial on-site meeting, free of charge, at your earliest convenience to review the project details and goals. From there, we carefully prepare a comprehensive, detailed proposal outlining the full scope of work, materials, and costs. Our team works the numbers carefully and transparently to ensure a competitive, fair, and accurate quote. Once the proposal is reviewed together, we make any necessary adjustments and move forward with scheduling and planning your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team at KMC collectively brings over 50 years of experience in the construction industry. All of our supervisors are OSHA 30-hour certified, and we employ multiple CSL (Construction Supervisor License) holders. KMC is also a registered Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (HIC). Additionally, we have a Massachusetts-certified hoisting operator on staff for machine and excavation operations, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with state requirements.
