Introduction: I do photography, fine art printing for photographers and artists, Photoshop and Lightroom training, drum scanning of film and flat artwork. I have 20 years of experience in Photoshop and fine art printing. I am passionate and particular about helping photographers and artists achieve the best, most expressive prints possible. My clients, many of whom are leaders in their respective fields (their day-jobs), describe my training as some of the best education they have ever had.

Bill has helped me to realize my vision in photographic images and to develop them into prints. We began with how to enhance contrast and sharpen images, and proceeded to adjustment layers and masks to refine various aspects of the image. Having studied with Bill I now have great confidence in an established work flow for post-capture processing when I approach any image, and am no longer frustrated by the inability to do so. This process requires work and patience depending on ones own technical aptitude, but is well worth the effort. Bill is also an excellent consultant to ensure that your software, computer, monitor, and workstation are optimal. I now enjoy talking to people I have referred to Bill when they tell me that their eyes have been opened by his input to their photography.

Bill Morse is a first-class teacher who does a truly excellent job showing students how to edit and print photos digitally. (I was a teacher myself for forty years, so I know a great one when I see one.) When I set out to learn Photoshop, I took an expensive weekend seminar. The instructor for the seminar was helpful and competent, but the subject matter was set by the assumed needs of students in a number of fields, and I didn’t find it very helpful. Bill, on the other hand, focuses on what a particular student needs to know. Photoshop is a notorious time-sink---one can get lost in it forever---but Bill keeps each student focused on the essentials and keeps out everything extraneous to the student’s interests and desires. He does an excellent job leading the student through the required steps while at the same time making the whole process clear, and in my case I felt I came away from each session energized and focused as well as technically stronger. My only regret is that I have not had time as yet to continue learning with Bill. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Bill is a superior teacher. I have a good eye for framing photos, but I am "technologically challenged" and have benefited tremendously from Bill's assistance with color contrast highlighting light and darkness in my photos. While I have taken several photography courses, I appreciate the one-on-one training with Bill that focuses exclusively on my needs. He has encouraged me to practice in between sessions and do as much as I can to integrate new learning into my growing understanding of photoshop. I highly recommend him.

I took about 15 Photoshop lessons from Bill and found the training to be outstanding. I learned many things that were useful technically, but also a process for thinking about images and how to make them better. Highly recommended!
