I basically asked Bulent to do a miracle, and he did it! I wanted to sing a song at my best friend's wedding, but have a terrible intonation and basically no former musical education. In a few lessons Bulent explained me the basics of singing and helped me to prepare the song. The result was great! I had so much fun that after this experience, I think I will keep taking classes with Bulent. Absolutely 5 stars!
I have been taking classical guitar lessons from Bertrand for a few weeks and am pleased with the progress. Bertrand has a contagious music philosophy and a knack for intertwining genres. He emphasizes music theory beyond the guitar and is constantly interested in the structural foundations of the pieces I play.
I have been having lessons with Nick for several years now, and I can say that this has been one of the greatest experiences of music that I have ever had. From the time that I started we have covered many different kinds of music that each are completely flexible to what I want to do at the time. Whether learning jazz or classic rock or acoustic melodies, I have thoroughly enjoyed every experience while rapidly improving. As I have gone to teachers before Nick, there is something special in the way that he tailors each lesson for the individual needs. I began lessons as a young kid learning to play a couple fun songs, that Nick was incredibly patient with, but I now have the fundamental skills to take on many new challenges.
My 12 year old daughter has been taking lessons with Aliana for 3 years now. She has been taught all the correct techniques. She has been challenged but never pushed beyond her abilities given her age. Aliana keeps lessons fun with just the right amount of criticism to get the most out of her students. We would recommend Aliana to singers of all ages and abilities.
Jaime is a great teacher, working with him has rekindled my love for guitar. I have been playing for a couple years, but I have never got beyond the basics. Four lessons in and I am progressing quickly. I would recommend Jaime to anyone. He meets you where you're at and works with what you want, while at the same time improving your skills and fundamentals.
Bradley is professional, supportive, and patient teacher. My lessons with him are enjoyable as well as instructive. I hope to study with him for a long time.
A perfect match for my 15 year old daughter taking singing lessons. Amanda's knowledge, talent, and enthusiasm are contagious. She has fostered my daughter's confidence and developed her singing skills. I highly recommend Amanda. You become part of her singing family and she gives more than 100% of herself each lesson. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Greg is a very patieint and creative teacher. His lessons are fun and productive at the same time. He keeps me interested and on track to one day becoming a skilled guitarist!
I am currently taking guitar lessons with Jeanne and she is fantastic! She makes learning easy and fun. I would recommend her to anyone who is just beginning or who is experienced and wants to perfect their skill.
I've been taking singing lessons with Cristina since 2015, and thanks to her method, I finally understood how to breath with my diaphragm, how to properly project my voice without pain, and enhance my stamina. She taught me also how to build a strong stage presence and we worked on developing my performance skills as well as how to face my stage fright. She coached me not just vocally but also psychologically, she is able to infuse a great positive energy and inspiration that boosted my motivation of achieving higher goals. I sang notes that I could never imagine i could sing, and I sang songs that I though might be too hard for me without Cristina's encouragement and belief. She helped me to increase my self-esteem and the belief that I can do anything with the right self-discipline, mindset and perseverance. Tiziana V.
I have found John to be courteous, patient and encouraging. He listens to and values student input. He establishes a lesson plan using the students preferred music genres. Lessons with John have been satisfying and fun.
We extended our contract with Josh. He has been providing music classes for students in the city of Boston and was able to build relationships and improve our school culture after only 4 classes. All the staff is very happy to have him around. Josh is super talented, great energy, and great attitude! :)
I have been taking guitar lessons with David since 2010. He's a remarkable instructor. He covers everything from technique to songwriting to theory to you name it. I've learned a great deal from him and it has been fun. You'll have a blast too!
Bob is an incredible guitar teacher with a proven method for success. Bob brought structure, consistency, and meaningfulness to all areas of learning the instrument, and is an excellent motivator for reaching your goals. In just the first two lessons Bob opened up the world of guitar and I such dramatic improvement, my playing has never been the same!
Looking forward to beginning singing lessons in June. Thank you! Melody Rajotte
I've been a student of his for a few years now and I have really enjoyed it. As a working professional, sometimes my practicing and lessons get pushed to the side for other priorities, and Daniel is very understanding. He is flexible with what pieces we play and how long we spend on them (not to say I can do whatever I want but he takes my requests seriously and does his best to accommodate). We have fun in the lessons, he is patient when I have an off day, and he spends the time teaching me in a way that I would understand. He even goes into a bit of music theory with me so that I can understand WHY the music is written the way it is. I would recommend Daniel as a violin teacher to anyone looking to learn - particularly if you are an adult looking to work on a hobby like I am!
I decided to take up the violin again after last having touched one over forty years ago. I have been taking violin lessons with Haley for over six months. She quickly helped me get back some sense of the instrument. She has been patiently taking me through scales, rhythm, tempo, sight reading , and in addition has exposed me to the basics of music theory. I have found her to be welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, yet also professional. We go through scale drills, are making our way through basic Hal Leonard books, and even do a little jamming on some rock ballads that she has downloaded for us to play along with. I haven't been practicing as much as I could or should, but Haley is cool with it. It's all been a challenge for me, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. When I progress to a higher level of playing ability, I am certain her high level of violin musicianship and teaching skill will be greatly helpful in allowing me to reach my musical goals. I would highly recommend Haley as a violin teacher for aspiring musicians of all skill levels.
I couldn’t have asked for anything more In a drum teacher, lessons have been really fun and he helps me learn what I need to learn in a very time efficient way. Couldn’t recommend him more!
At over 60, taking violin lessons for the first time could have been painful. Laura makes sure that it isn't. I love learning from her. She is a gifted teacher and talented musician who knows how to adjust lessons to the individual student and encourage without lecturing. I highly recommmend her for either performance or instruction...for any aged student!
Had a really good experience with Arnie. He was very flexible on the timing and came prepared with some sheet music for some songs that I had expressed interest in learning. Overall, very friendly and patient with me as I bumbled my way through ukulele for the first time. Learned a lot about how to hold the instrument, strumming patterns, and reading music and general know-how about the instrument. Highly recommend Arnie, speaking as a beginning ukulele student.
Trevor has a very broad musical experience to draw from and knows how to pace his teaching based off of my skill level/previous experience. The lessons and assignments are challenging but productive and fun. On top of that, he's friendly, easy-going, and flexible with scheduling. Would recommend!
