Introduction: Welcome! I am a Boston based violin teacher with a background in classical violin performance. Since moving to Boston, I have been performing with the Boston University Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and am an artistic director and active member of the musician- led ensemble, Palaver Strings.
I'm currently a graduate student in Violin Performance at Boston University and recently completed my Bachelor of Music degree at the Oberlin Conservatory. As a performer and teacher, my mission is to nurture and instill a love of music into all of my students. I've been teaching violin for over 5 years to children and adults of all ages.
My teaching incorporates elements of the Suzuki Violin Method as well as others. I believe that every student is unique, and therefore deserves a teaching regimen that caters to their learning style.
I love working with students of all ages and levels. Lessons are offered for 30 mins or 60 mins. I work on technique with all of my students regardless of their level.
My hope is to instill a sense of confidence into my students, so that they can gain the freedom to express themselves and find a unique voice of their own, musically!
