Introduction: Welcome! I am a Boston based violin teacher with a background in classical violin performance. Since moving to Boston, I have been performing with the Boston University Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and am an artistic director and active member of the musician- led ensemble, Palaver Strings. I'm currently a graduate student in Violin Performance at Boston University and recently completed my Bachelor of Music degree at the Oberlin Conservatory. As a performer and teacher, my mission is to nurture and instill a love of music into all of my students. I've been teaching violin for over 5 years to children and adults of all ages. My teaching incorporates elements of the Suzuki Violin Method as well as others. I believe that every student is unique, and therefore deserves a teaching regimen that caters to their learning style. I love working with students of all ages and levels. Lessons are offered for 30 mins or 60 mins. I work on technique with all of my students regardless of their level. My hope is to instill a sense of confidence into my students, so that they can gain the freedom to express themselves and find a unique voice of their own, musically!

I have been taking lessons with Danielle and they have been great. I used to play a little in high school and was really excited to start playing again. She is very advanced and you can tell she has a lot of experience teaching.

Danielle is an excellent musician and violin instructor. She is thorough and patient. Danielle makes learning the violin fun and rewarding for children. She recognizes the importance of young ones feeling a sense of immediate accomplishment.I highly recommend her!
