Introduction: Highly trained in mobility and functional training/building specializing in Animal Flow and Kettlebells, I’m an enthusiastic and supportive personal trainer, clients ranging from complete novices to elite athletes, Single to Bi-Lateral Amputees to wheelchair athletes, I always like to find the inner athlete in everyone–even people who have never set foot in the gym before. With my technical, scientific background, I can advise and coach you how to manipulate a wide variety of variables to design programs which efficiently achieve my clients’ goals. Each training program is unique and customized specifically for the individual: there is NO one-size-fits-all. I truly believe working out and fitness are vital parts of our lives. It’s the best form of (preventative) medicine and healthy living. This is my way to contribute to healthcare and to give athletes the competitive edge.

I first met Michael in January 2020. At the time, I was going to the gym 4-6 times a week, but had lingering back/neck issues since a high school wrestling injury, and was stuck in the same routine, without seeing results. After a few sessions with Michael, the body transformations were noticeable. Once COVID forced us to get more creative, he gave me primal/animal flow movements to add to my exercises. By the time gyms opened, between running and the flow Michael incorporated, I lost 20lbs. Once we got back in the gym, Michael put me under an intense lifting routine; but constantly changed it up. No two days were filled with the same routines. That change made a huge difference, and help me tone out, bulk up on muscle, all while trimming even more fat. A year later, I’m still 30lbs lighter, stronger, faster, and feel a whole lot better as a human. The journey Michael takes you on is a fun one that brings legit results, all while finding news ways to push yourself. My experience with Michael was truly life changing, and for that, I’m forever thankful. And if I ever have back/neck issues again, I’m not seeing a chiropractor/masseuse; I’m going to Michael to strengthen my core, because that’s where it starts! Kudos to you Michael, you’re a great coach and an even better person!

I love having Mike as my coach. He push me to places, I never imagine I could do. Learning Animal Flow was the highlight of my 2020. Mike easily accommodated to meet my needs during the locked down period.

Michael is the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is professional, encouraging, and invested in my success. He carefully plans out each of our sessions and includes a full spectrum of mobility training, strength training and animal flow. There is always variety in our sessions - it never feels repetitive or dull. He helps me push my own limits while always being respectful and providing motivation. I look better and feel stronger. Michael is the best and I highly recommend him to help you attain your fitness and health goals!

I have had different personal trainers in the past few years, Mike shows an absolute different vibe on many levels, his work out quality, personalized exercises, and the amazing motivation he radiates to his clients, makes him stand out far more advanced than anyone in the profession.     NASM Certified in Personal Training, Animal Flow specialist, Nutrition for Athletes, Certified in Boxing for Parkinson’s, Child Development and Cognitive Response 6-9 year olds

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I was in the hospitality industry for number of years and 5-6 years I needed to change my habits and also my life as I wasn’t taking care of my health. I started doing yoga and spending more time in the gym, studying health and nutrition, focused on mobility, strength training through the use of kettlebells and weights. I enjoyed this so much as it changed my life and wanted to share my experience and expertise to help and coach others to seek a healthy fruitful life that prioritizes health as a lifestyle not just another task.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    My clients varies from bi-lateral amputees, wheelchair bond athletes to 75 year old with Parkinson’s. Novice to athletes, I help develop and coach clients to move better, enhancing movements to whole new level and incorporating mobility as a secret weapon.
