Introduction
Our comprehensive SAT/ACT prep program does a better job than any other online prep program available, for these key reasons: 1- Customization: Our program adapts to your strengths and weaknesses so you use your study time the most effectively. You'll never waste time studying things that are too easy or too hard for you. 2- Realistic Questions: We've hired the best SAT/ACT instructors to craft thousands of realistic questions for your practice. We also integrate official SAT/ACT tests into your study program so you get ready for the real test. 3- Motivation: We know how important it is for students to stay motivated and put in study time. We've built special features into our program, like weekly progress reports and time tracking, so that students triple their study time. Combine this with the convenience of online prep, dozens of skill to master, and caring customer support, and you get PrepScholar. Getting students huge SAT/ACT score improvements. Getting students the results they deserve. We see a lot of students who do well in their classes but just aren't good test takers, and parents who are distraught about their scores. The SAT and ACT are strange tests, and it takes specific training to get better at these tests. Our favorite moment is score release after every test - we get hundreds of emails from happy students who have improved more than they could have thought possible. We've helped them open doors to better colleges and brighter futures.

I was looking for an online class and came across PrepScholar. It seemed to offer personalized service and claims of mightily improving test scores – was this too good to be true? PrepScholar was just starting up when we tried it and one of the founders, Allen, was great with answering questions and making constant improvements. We gave feedback and they responded. My son is not a natural test-taker and was able to improve his SAT score by 240 points. I didn’t think he’d be able to improve that much, but PrepScholar was true to their promise. They have an effective method that really works. The tutorials and quizzes are constantly monitoring your child’s specific needs and progress. If you are a parent that doesn’t want to spend a fortune on private SAT tutoring or have your kid languish in a large group class, PrepScholar is really worth trying. They send out progress checks every week and encourage your kids to meet their goals. They keep track of how many hours are spent on task and you can receive that update too – you will know if your kid is actually doing test prep or not! If you are thinking about signing up for an online SAT course, you should call and talk to someone at PrepScholar (keep in mind that they are on the East coast). They will answer your questions and help you feel like your kid can, not only survive the SAT, but do really well!

My daughter needed an online SAT prep program that would fit her busy schedule. We liked PrepScholar because the lessons focused on the areas with the greatest upside potential and she didn’t have to spend time reviewing things she already knew. Allen Cheng was especially responsive to our questions and went above and beyond what I would have expected in an online course. We were impressed with the way the lessons were presented, the personal attention we received, and their enthusiasm for my daughter's success. We liked the way practice tests were incorporated in the program so she could see her progress and how close she was to reaching her goals. After following the PrepScholar program exactly as it was presented she increased her SAT score by 330 points! PrepScholar did a fantastic job for us and we definitely recommend it!

PrepScholar was the answer to our prayers! Let me explain: In early spring of 2014 we needed an SAT prep course for my son. He's a bright kid, but didn't do as well as he expected the first time he took the SAT (fall of 2013). This time around we knew he needed something structured and goal-oriented to help him prepare. We signed him up for a live course that was to be held once a week at his school with an instructor, but 3 days before they were to start, they told us not enough kids had signed up so if he wanted to attend he had to go to a new location 35 minutes from home. Not ideal with our nasty Midwestern winter that lasted until mid-spring. In his frantic pursuit of another option, my son stumbled upon the PrepScholar website and really wanted to try it, given that it was something he could work on at his own pace, as HIS schedule permitted and it would be a little more tailored to his specific needs. It sounded too good to be true – and you know what they say about things that are too good to be true, right? Boy was I wrong! I was skeptical about trying an online course because I really felt a course with an instructor was the best idea, even if it meant him having to drive there every week. In the end we let him decide for himself, he chose PrepScholar, we were all THRILLED with the results. The PrepScholar folks were incredibly responsive to all our questions (thank you Allen Cheng, as he was very patient with me and all my questions) in advance of signing up, as well as answered more questions while my son was working the program. Each Sunday my son received an email asking him to complete a study schedule for the week – I think this really helped him stay on track and meet his goals. After he submitted his schedule we (the parents) got an email confirming his planned schedule – brilliant! As time went on, we also received several progress emails letting us know how he was doing, so if he wasn’t meeting his goals/commitments, we knew about it and could encourage him to get back on track. What a fantastic idea! The program does require a time commitment on the student’s part, but this is true of any prep program, in my opinion. The beauty of this program is that they can work at their own pace and as their schedule permits. I recommend PrepScholar without reservation to anyone who is considering it, and I can attest to the fact that they honor their refund guarantee. My son’s score did improve but was just under the 240 point guarantee so our request for a refund was honored. If you’re looking for a tool to help your student prepare for the SAT, look no further because THIS IS IT.

Working with Allen was a great experience for me. He knew the exact days in which I was taking my SAT, and he always emailed me to ask how I did. When there were things to work on, he knew exactly what types of strategies I could use to improve my skills and overall score. I would highly advise anyone to sign up for Prep Scholar to attain the best SAT score possible. It helped me increase my score by 400 points over a 2 test span. The one-on-one style of learning is what I liked best. You move at your own pace and you can review your mistakes any time after you complete your practice tests. I had other options offered to me, but chose PS because of the format. I am very glad I did.

I've been in your position: You're desperately looking for an SAT preparation course that will propel your child towards test success. You're not only results-oriented, but you're searching for a program that is flexible where your child can study at his/her own pace. Other items on your SAT prep course wish list include the a) ability to find out your child's academic strengths and weaknesses; b) questions that are individually geared to build his/her SAT skill set; and c) fun, informative lessons that will offer uniquely clever strategies in tackling challenging SAT questions. You also may be under financial constraints so you're searching for a program that fits within your budget. I've posted this online review to report that low cost and high quality are not necessarily mutually exclusive when it comes to SAT prep programs, thanks to PrepScholar. This affordable program satisfies all the above criteria, and offers an initial diagnostic test, a customized study plan, and tools, techniques, and tricks to master the SAT. The material is laid out in a very user-friendly format, and the instruction is entertaining and enlightening. My son performed very well on the SAT and I owe PrepScholar a large debt of gratitude for his fine performance. I particularly want to thank Allen Cheng, one of the founders, who seems personally invested in his students' success. He reached out to my son via email on several occasions to monitor his progress. He consistently offered insightful suggestions on how to improve SAT scores. He was even willing to read my son's sample essay, grade it, and offered advice on how to excel in the writing component.. The online course worked perfectly with my son's schedule, and had he invested more time studying, he would have done even better. This course has as much potential as any other to raise SAT scores but student diligence and commitment is required. I unequivocally assert that this is the BEST SAT prep course available in the marketplace, and you and your child will have no regrets on participating in the coursework.
