I can't say enough about the service. My daughter Jessica took the ACT 3x and was stuck at a 26. She spent 2 months studying with Prep Scholar at about 5 hours per week and raised her score to a 31.She is a junior with some time left as well to study and take it again. I figure it just saved us $100k plus. She would not have been able to do it without Prep Scholar. If you have a student and they are discipline you will get the results out of Prep Scholar. I tell everyone I meet with kids taking the exams to use it. I have never written one of these reviews before but it is an incredible program and to see the excitement in my daughter's face when she got her results was tremendous. Prep's process is unique. Don't cut corners and take the 5 practice tests under test conditions and you will see results.This is the best money we have ever spent!

Our son took the ACT the fall of his junior year & was disappointed that his scores were lower than he expected. Prior to taking them again in the spring, we discovered Prep Scholar & he was able to get in about 40 hours of lessons before retaking the test. He increased his score in each category (including a 6-point jump in science) & his composite score increased by 3 points as well. Definitely worth it!

Ever since 7th grade, I had always wanted to go to Texas A&M and get a degree in Civil Engineering. As of about a year ago, I got a composite score of 22 on the ACT and immediately, I knew that wasn't good enough and that I was going to work much harder. I started to use PrepScholar last spring and I used it throughout the summer last year. My last chance at the ACT came in the fall of last year and when I took it, I felt very confident and that I had improved very much. When I received my scores back, I had gotten a composite score of 24 and all of my scores on the four ACT sections had improved a lot as well. Also, I submitted my application to Texas A&M last fall including the better and more recent scores. Around a month ago, I heard back that I had been accepted and I now have an awesome opportunity to pursue my dream in Civil Engineering. Overall, PrepScholar helped me study well, but efficiently. The program was easy to use and I am very grateful that it helped me very much.

Count me as a very satisfied customer. Our son increased his scores by exactly the amount Prep Scholar represented. His scores increased from 31 to 34. This is a very meaningful increase in terms of range of potential schools and scholarship money - as well as a great value. I had every intention of holding prep scholar to their guarantee and they were straight forward about what was necessary to claim it (completed lesson plans on the web site). To be honest, he did not meet the minimum to be eligible for the money back guarantee due to other academic / extra curricular commitments. Even with a reduced amount of time spent studying, the course prepared him well as he saw increases in every subject area. If your child can commit 30 hours over 2 months, He will absolutely see results - guaranteed. Our 8th grade daughter will be using the course in the future.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
We were fed up with expensive SAT/ACT prep classes that cost a lot without delivering results. We figured out how to master the SAT and ACT, and we created PrepScholar to share our strategies with you. By being online, we save on a lot of overhead costs that other companies suffer from, which means we can lower our price and work with many more students. Education is an incredibly important problem in this country. We're getting started in education by working on a test that matters the most to student's college applications - the SAT/ACT exams.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the prep program you decide to use has everything you need. Students don't have the time to compensate for any missing pieces of a study program. Your ideal prep program will have: -customization to your strengths and weaknesses -detailed study lessons to teach you content -thousands of realistic practice questions -detailed answer explanations so you can learn from your mistakes -motivational features to keep you studying -helpful customer support Each one of these is important to maximizing your score results.
