Very knowledgeable and effective in presenting different approaches to improving vocal techniques. Paul also provides a very comfortable atmosphere and makes the learning experience both constructive and enjoyable.

About this pro

Learning to sing is a lifelong undertaking that necessitates dedication, an inquisitive mind and patience. That being said, the process should still be fun and exciting. While my approach is serious and our time together will be well spent - studying singing with me will be above all fun. My studio runs the gamut in regard to the levels of singers I teach. I have many students who are beginners simply looking to improve their voices for their own personal gratification. I also teach many students who are preparing for auditions or looking to make a career out of singing. I was recently awarded the "Best of 2015" by thumbtack for outstanding student reviews. A typical hour long lesson will be structured into two halves. The first half, give or take a few minutes, will be work focused on technique - using proven exercises to address technical vocal issues and tonal problems. The second half will then be used to apply these ideas to the music we are working on together. I received my master's degree in vocal performance from Boston University and have over 8 years of professional singing experience. I teach at Boston University in the College of Fine Arts. Come study in a comfortable and respectful environment. Learn to sing freely in classical, choral, music theater, and/or modern vocal genres. Lessons can help anyone build confidence in one's musical and artistic expression. Together we will use your preferred genre of music to work on breathing, resonance balancing, relaxation and postural techniques. If you are interested I offer a complimentary 30 minute trial lesson and initial consultation so that you can decide whether or not you would enjoy studying with me.
