I have been having lessons with Kathryn for about a month now and I greatly enjoy the experience. I went into it not knowing anything about Yoga, and my knowledge has grown a lot. I thought I would only want one or two private lessons and then occasional lessons, but I look forward to them every single week now! My fiance and I needed to feel more comfortable dancing together to practice for our first dance at our upcoming wedding! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge hourly for lessons, though I am open to alternate pricing for shorter or longer sessions. Students and I can negotiate that on a case-by-case basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start by asking about his/her goals, and any applicable limitations/conditions (physical, mental health, etc. - whatever he/she may be comfortable sharing and is applicable to our work). I take it slow and steady at first, gradually introducing new challenges as I learn more about his/her capabilities and yoga practice style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a fully certified CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher) at the 500-hr level (having trained in yoga instruction for 500 hours) - through Aura Wellness Center (Attleboro, MA). I consistently seek to expand my knowledge and experience through reading various yoga/holistic health and fitness publications, as well as teaching with a wide range of students.
