FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate reflects my experience and the time I put into crafting each individual lesson. Packages of 5 and 10 lessons are available at discounted rates. At this time, I am only accepting students that can meet a minimum of once a week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students are always entitled to a free 15-minute consultation. I use this time to get a sense of the student’s level, as well as their interests and goals. It also allows them to get a sense of my teaching style and personality. If the student agrees to work together, I use the information I gathered to create a custom lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings in the US, Italy, Korea and France. I began teaching in a shelter for refugees and have continued working in community centers, while also offering private tutoring. In addition to my bachelors degree in global studies from Bentley University, I have obtained my CELTA through the University of Cambridge.
