I am giving 5 stars because she did a very amazing job with my dog, she was rescued and needed to get GROOMED ASAP! She was really matted, she had about 4 inches of thick fur coat. Cathy had the patience and did a lovely job. I definitely will keep using her for my dogs grooming. She dematted my dog and now she’s running around happy. Thank You! I appreciate the fact you came in less than a 24hr notice. Reasonable price as well.

I took my new young dog for a private lesson with Melinda. We were already taking beginner agility lessons in a class at local dog club.. but Melinda's one-on-one was tailored for me and my dog. I've been trialing in agility for 13 years ... but Melinda has taught me new and better ways to train and practice. She is up to date on the latest techniques. She is over an hour drive for me, but well worth it.

Donna has great working with us (mom at 93, husband at 80 and me at 60) training our 10 month large black lab mix Sampson. She shows us how to do an exercise and then has us do it. Sampson is learning very quickly and his obedience improveso weekly. Love that she comes to house and works with us with environment distractions.

Jess has done an exceptional job helping us train our dog, Bruin. He is a 2yo German Shepherd that has anxiety and a ton of energy. We just finished our 6 week, private training lessons and are extremely thrilled at all of his progress and could not have done it without all of her help. We plan to sign up for more training with Jess to take it to the next level. I highly recommend Jess if you are looking for a trainer. She is extremely patient and so knowledgeable about dogs and very helpful.

I’ve worked with Lynne Panno for many years with my dogs. She is very knowledgeable, patient and knows dogs and training methods extremely well. Training is really for us owners and Lynne is patient but quick to correct our errors - so that we are consistent in our training with our dogs and they always know what we want them to do.

We couldn't be any more pleased with our training from Ken at Caliber K-9 and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for training for their dogs. We have a 4 year old Boxer mix named Wrigley who started nipping at our 8 and 11 year old children about the time that I got pregnant. With twins on the way, we needed a solution for our dog quickly. We interviewed multiple trainers including a few very highly rated trainers in Boston. We were told a variety of things about our dog including that the only option was the put him down. My husband and I were at a loss of what to do and didn't have a good feeling about what anyone was telling us. And then Ken came over for a free evaluation. He was the only trainer to focus on Wrigley just as much as us. This made a huge impression on us, along with Ken's approach and dedication. We decided to hire Ken on the spot without needing to discuss it privately. I'm writing this during our fifth week of training and our dog isn't even home for good yet. I hope this shows how much we would recommend Ken. Wrigley was a challenge for him due to the "squirrels in his head" and his lack of drive. We feel confident that we will be able to take over when Wrigley comes home and continue onto a better path with Wrigley in our home. Ken has boosted his confidence, addressed many handling issues, taught him obedience and taught us and our children how to continue the work at home. Wrigley came home for a night's stay this week and things were great during the trial run. The other trainers sold an idea of a guaranteed fix and then would send your dog home. This just wasn't realistic for our situation. Ken has offered to keep Wrigley for an extra week at no cost in order to have a smoother transition when coming home. We've also discussed additional ways that Ken can help us in the months to come including helping me take Wrigley to an anxiety-fueled vet appt., boarding Wrigley when our twins come and helping to introduce Wrigley to the new babies. Also, the one-on-one attention that your dog would get with Ken is far and above what anyone else is offering! I feel like Ken could double his price and still be worth it compared to the others we interviewed. We feel so incredibly fortunate that Ken was available when we needed his help. He's also a friend now for many years to come. You won't be disappointed in hiring him.

I have had nothing but positive interactions with Sharon and helpful suggestions and guidance. She has been very willing to meet me where I'm at and work with me/around my disabilities that can vary at times in terms of my activity level but have also had some unexpected turns lately. She is extremely professional, honest, and kind and great with my dog! He absolutely loves her. I can't say enough positive things about her. She is a true find and I feel blessed to have found her and have her involved in my "service dog in training" journey.

Cindy is a wonderful and knowledgeable trainer who spent time training us and our dog! She was calm but firm with her training methods, and was very familiar with our mixed breed. I would highly recommend her and Pawfection Pet Training to anyone that is looking for training or help with their dog!

About

I am a caring pet owner of cats. Though I like dogs and most other types of pets except snakes and spiders. I posted a current pic, though I plan to put in a better one of myself alone as soon as possible. I like most animals: cats, dogs, birds, and small pets. I also like horses, and I'm an experienced horseback rider. I only know the basics of horse care. I have cared for horses at a horse camp, but I'm not an experienced horse caretaker. I have a cousin who owns an equestrian center. I hope to gain experience as I plan to visit and may inquire about working there also. I also like photography, computer games, swimming and more. I like the outdoors; therefore, I like to take walks. So I would be happy to care for and walk your dog or dogs. If there's more than one, I would like a higher wage. I'm looking for $15.00 an hour for now. I may consider lower depending on the services needed. I have helped save animals who were in need of help. I can inform you about that at a later time if interested. I have a pretty flexible schedule. So I may be able to work on certain days and in the afternoon and evening. I'm in the Wethersfield area and prefer the jobs I take on to be local, not further than one town away. I'm a responsible adult over 30. Please e-mail me if you can't reach me by phone. Thank you. -- Diana

About

I feel that my skills are more about understanding the dog and how he/she learns. When people understand that human language is not the one that works when you have a dog that has a issue that doesn't seem to get better but just keeps getting worse when you can learn to speak dog an know why it works you will see happy owners along with a very happy and healthy relationship with the dog

We are adopting a dog that was found abandoned. He is between 1-3 years old, pure bred unneutered Rottweiler. He will be neutered before adopted. Because he is older and we do not know his history, we are looking for professional help in improving his manners and making sure that we train him properly with the best results. He is a sweet boy, but he is very large for such a young dog (100lbs) and very strong. He knows no boundaries at the moment. He has had some training however and knows the basics (sit, down, come).
