Deb is an exceptional career coach (and exceptional human being). When I was out of work and professionally disoriented, Deb came to the rescue. By engaging me in thoughtful discussion of my core values, skills and experience, she guided me to reformulate my personal narrative and helped me articulate my professional goals. In supporting me in the development and implementation of customized job-search strategies, I found the confidence and determination to find the job I truly wanted. She was the mirror I needed to discover who I wanted to become. I could not recommend her more highly.

I was initially nervous to meet with a life coach, however, after meeting with Jane I realized it was the best decision I have made for myself in a long time. She creates a plan to help address your personal and professional goals and genuinely cares about her clients. I would highly recomend booking an appointment with Jane for career goals, life coaching skills, or any additional professional aspirations.

Marlen Caduff has been a Godsend for me as a massage therapist. She will accommodate your difficulties and give you health advice as well. I have had a number of health problems that she has helped me with for several years. My wife and I consider her one of the most compassionate and competent health professionals that we know. However, more importantly is her expertise in her field of massage therapy and nutrition. I have had her help me with my back, knee, and neck pain due to cancer treatment. There were times when I couldn't get by without her treatments. She has even gone out of the way to help me get down and back from her studio on occasion. I owe her a lot. Thank you, Marlen! Rob's energy and passion for what he does are clear right away. He always has a positive outlook and will help you find the silver lining in every situation. When I first spoke with him, I was having some trouble being underappreciated at work. Rob offered sound advice and was always there for me when I needed him. Highly recommend Rob as a life and business coach, motivational speaker and all of the above!

I had interviewed two other fitness coaches before Gena and what I loved about Gena from the start was her willingness to listen and customize a plan based on my personal needs, circumstances and abilities. She coaches, encourages, checks in and keeps the experience positive providing the little extra push needed to stay focused on fitness goals that can easily be compromised with a busy to-do list.

I worked closely with Nicholas for life coaching for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. He is a phenomenal speaker and wonderful mentor who has an innate ability to track your negative thoughts and emotions and turn your mental state around to a more positive one. Because of him, I am now pursuing full recovery with my eating disorder, have now fully embraced my hearing disability, and am now helping other women learn to love themselves and recognize their worth. I also recently hired Nicholas as my personal service dog trainer (talk about a multi-faceted individual!), and he has quickly established a wonderful, respectable, and loving relationship with my dog. Nicholas exhibits patience, professionalism, and quality in his work. Don't miss out on working with this amazing individual!

Marc has been wonderful for my teen son! Glad he enjoys going to meet and seems to be a more positive impact than dwelling on negativity in a therapist office.

I have been an acupuncture patient of Marisa's for many years, so I knew she was studying to become a Life Coach. I had been to a Life Coach years before and didn't really get anything out of it, just lots of money wasted. Marisa gave me a free "practice" session (as she put it) and - wow! It was only about 10 minutes into the session when she pinpointed the areas I needed to focus on and then came up with ideas on how to handle them - all in a half hour! She knows her stuff and can accomplish in a short time what it would take others weeks to do! Give her a try, its worth it!

Amy is both approachable and relatable, while maintaining her professionalism. She listens well and allows you to guide your progress, while holding you accountable. She calls you out when necessary, but always does so in a respectful and kind manner. You feel like you're speaking to a friend rather than a coach. She's not afraid to laugh with you, while helping you get in tune with what's most important to you and who you are at the core. You feel like you're constantly growing, making realizations you wouldn't have made on your own, and making progress. Amy seems to truly care about you as a person.

Beth is an extremely intuitive coach. She simply feels into my energy and knows what’s going on for me before I even know myself. I’ve seen her use this technique effectively with other people. Week after week, Beth helped me see things about myself and my work that were changing, evolving and improving. These were all things I hadn’t seen for myself, but they became apparent to me once she pointed them out. Beth is kind, caring and compassionate and at the same time, extremely empowering. She’ll get you jump started when you need that and will remind you to be kind to yourself and take a break when necessary. I highly recommend Beth as a coach. Corinne C, Revere, MA

I am only a week in with working with Jeremy and have already felt a difference. The most impressive change I have noticed are my habits. Instead of sitting on the couch for hours on end and snacking, I will get up, do some cardio, eat some dinner and watch ONE episode of my favorite show. I also have had much more energy where getting up in the morning doesn't seem like an impossible task. Although I am probably in the worst shape of my life right now, I am excited to get "it back." I am looking forward to long runs this fall, developing a yoga routine, becoming stronger in the weight room and more importantly create and maintain a fundamental nutrition plan that I can carry for the rest of my life.

My coaching sessions started with Matt when I was thinking about going back to school for a degree in cello performance. I took a look at the tuition prices at all the nearby conservatories and realized I could save many thousands of dollars by putting together my own educational program. I asked Matt to help me with this process, and he has been awesome. He has provided friendly but firm encouragement through the whole process of clarifying my goals, setting my priorities, and taking specific steps towards accomplishing what I want to accomplish. I have never felt so disciplined and motivated about my cello playing, and it feels great. I can’t recommend Matt enough.

I was ready to honestly look at/into myself. I knew I had something(s) blocking my full potential. I was determined to untangle all the experiences and complications and learned emotional reactions that were limiting and in some ways paralyzing me. I wanted to be the best me possible. If you are ready to live in truth, Judy Silvan is the perfect guide for that expedition into yourself. -Joseph, 11/15/2015.

            About

Be your own hero. Hero (noun) is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. "You're my hero -- me to everyone, all the time!" I'm so fortunate to spend my time surrounded by amazing humans. I'm in awe of their strength, their courage, and their awesomeness. Even when I'm not with them, I turn on the TV, scroll through Twitter or walk down the street and suddenly, I'm in awe of complete strangers (and animals with social media accounts). Seriously, humans (and Internet quadrupeds) are so cool! We live in a world chock full of heroes -- living beings that inspire us, and that we believe are worthy of our respect and total admiration, but, here's the thing. This constant focus on the heroism of others distracts us from our inner hero -- our strength, our courage, and our awesomeness. I mean, look at that cool thing that guy did! How dare we think we can do that? How dare we admit to ourselves that we are worthy of a hero status? Look at all this proof we've collected to explain why we're not cool/smart/rich/creative enough to do the things we want to do and be the people we want to be. Why should we even bother? We're not as cool as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and we never will be! Wah! Lies. The truth is this: We're all heroes to someone, and we really need to start being heroes to ourselves. Let's all put on our big-girl/-boy pants, tie our capes, and soar.

I motivate others to be the best they can be. I give life tools and skills to cope with loss and suffering, bullying and stressful situations to help the cope in a positive way. The three main goals I want someone to learn about themselves is what I learned from life, such as the following: * Treat others how you want to be treated * Love yourself * Accept your erroneous zones and learn from them and move forward in life The main idea of Mathenia's Positive Corner is sometimes life will bring you to a halt, and you have to be the one to say "enough is enough" to truly make a positive change in your life.
