Steve was fantastic. Perfroming misc Framing, Carpentry and ceramic tile installation for me. He was very professional, conscientious about his work and reasonably priced. I would higly recommend him.
Very high quality work at a fair price. Was very precise in his work and very clean. Hanged multiple framed pieces of art, used a laser level, and securely hung large pieces. Wall mounted three TVs including a 65" OLED on a marble fireplace. Creatively was able to find the wall studs behind the marble to hang the TV expertly. Also reinforced clothes rods in closets. Would definitely hire again and recommend to others.
I needed somebody to build and install a custom floor-to-ceiling sliding door to split my room when I want it. Not too many contractors will take a job like this requiring out-of-the-box thinking, but Joe did. He came up with a solution that saved me hundreds on the material cost and submitted a quote that I could not refuse. And Im glad Ive hired him. That was my best contractor experience ever (and I worked with dozens of contractors on different projects before). Joe and Frank worked as a perfect team complementing each other and coming up with the best course of actions. Joe would reply to any text message almost immediately, answering all the questions I had for him. The project was done as promised, on time and on budged. Thank you, Joe and Frank. I would recommend Speranza & Son to anyone who needs a job done professionally, efficiently, and with minimal headache.
Gabe and Team did a great job. Initially the project was scoped to be a relatively simple siding project, with some replacement windows, and a addition of some windows or enlarging windows, and new door. But then before it started I, i threw Gabe a curve ball and asked to add the cost to remove the existing siding vs going over it as planned. Gabe agreed to do it and gave a reasonable cost. After the removing of siding, they found two support walls with lots of rot due to water and termite damage. Gabe and team handled this very well, and nice part is they had the skills to repair the walls, so work wasn't halted while we found someone to repair. This also totally threw off Gabe job schedule, but he accommodated the repairs and was able finished the Job as a whole in reasonable time given the situation. Gabe is very responsive. You can call or Text him and usually in under an hour he calls you back. He also explains everything he going to do in detail, and also if you have a question on my he is doing it a certain way , he will always take the time and give you the full details. He was very accommodating while working at your home. For example ,as my yard didn't have enough room for a dumpster, and if one was delivered we would have lost our driveway (we live on main street with two young kids). Gabe said that he didn't need a dumpster, and he just load up his trucks and remove it himself. This made our live much easier. Gabe prices were always very reasonable for the work performed. i can highly recommend House Pro.
Great service...did the best he could with crappy cabinets and rails.
We needed a ceiling fan in the bathroom as our small bathroom had no ventilation, and the walls were getting mildew from all the long daily showers that our 3 teenage boys were taking. Barry did a phenomenal job of installing a fan with lighting in a short period of time. He had to create a hole in the ceiling, install the unit, do the electrical wiring, and go into the crawl space to fix the vent to the outside, which was I am sure was quite a lot of work, but he was very efficient and neat in his work. He was always punctual, kind and gentlemanly, listened to what we wanted, made great recommendations and did not charge us more than what we agreed on in the beginning. He is trustworthy and reliable and puts his best into the work. Now we have no more mildew on the walls. I am thrilled! He is a keeper!
Job is underway. Ray jumped right in and started my odd jobs and will be doing a Rustoleum Restoration to my 15 cabinets. His quote and knowledge sold me on his work. Already seeing results. We are looking to be at "open house" stage by late August and Ray's work will go a long way to getting us there.
I am so happy that I chose Mark for our kitchen remodel! Mark listened to my ideas and offered his own suggestions and improvements from his past experiences. After working through the layout together Mark's work was superior quality. He has strong attention to detail, and it showed in his cabinet making and installation. I highly recommend Mark for any project and I know we would be delighted to use him again, or know that our recommendation of Mark encouraged others to move forward with Mark! You will not regret it! I am so grateful to have found a customer focused and solution orientated contractor!!
Mike Cyr just completed a cabinetry job at our house and it was a very positive experience. He was professional, punctual, communicated clearly, made very helpful suggestions and upgraded the finish, look and functionality of our old cabinets beyond our expectations.
Woody has worked on my home for many years. He has replaced my cabinets, doors and windows. He has installed hardwood flooring in two of my bedrooms and has also done some exterior trim. Woodys work is exceptional. I am always satisfied with the job. He is very punctual and professional. I have also referred his to many of my coworkers and friends.
Initially, I hired Green Pine to do a little bit of siding...but i was so impressed with their work that I hired them for some additional jobs (flooring, drywall repair, wood rot repair, etc.). Claudinei is very knowledgeable and very professional...showed up on time to all of our meetings and got the job done in the amount of time he estimated. I highly recommend Green Pine.
The complete demo and renovation of our beautiful new kitchen could not have gone better. Steve is an experienced general contractor, who knows many aspects of construction. He has connections with the trades, such as electricians and plumbers, so that the project is completed to building codes and requirements. His experience allows him to anticipate any problems before they are made and when there are issues to resolve, he follows through until they are worked out. Steve communicates well, was always on time, pays attention to detail, tries to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum, and protects new items from being inadvertently scratched during the continuing construction process. He installed custom cabinets and trims, open shelves, all appliances, glass backsplash, new windows, widened our door entry, and created a special closet out of left over materials. This is the second major project that Steve has done for us, the first was a bathroom, and both came out the way we envisioned.
The job I needed done was to uninstall an over-the-range microwave that recirculated (no vent going outside) then install a new microwave that would vent outside. Eric made an appointment with me at the house to look at the job before I hired him. He arrived on time & then spent an hour observing then taking notes of the conditions so he could plan what he would need for materials. On thumbtack, he had proposed a fee including the materials and after looking at the job he confirmed that he could do the job for the price that he had quoted. I asked him when he could do the work and he was available this same week. I hired him. He arrived with tools & materials (on time) and proceeded to do the work. It was a lot of work installing the vent to outside: drilling and cutting through a cabinet and a few walls. He fitted all the parts and taped and caulked wherever it was required. Yay, microwave exhaust goes outside! Now I can cook without fear of smelling up the house. So happy with the clean and neat installation and consider it a very good, professional job. I would wholeheartedly recommend him for this type of task. I will keep him in mind for projects that come up: I'd definitely hire him again.
Russ and his team was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to my inquiry (leveling my floors for a floating wood installation) and even adjusted his projects to fit my tight timeframe. He provided tips for other renovations we are doing throughout the house and even allowed up to borrow tools needed to do so. we have worked with several contractors over the last few weeks and Russ by far was the more professional.
They were great! They installed new kitchen and dining room windows, as well as installed new cabinets and put in a vent for over the range microwave. Hooked up our dishwasher/faucet once new sink was installed with the granite countertop. Finished almost all of the project within a week, only had to wait on a special order window which was not his fault it took awhile for that to come in. I recommend to anyone who is looking to get great work done at a reasonable price.
They remodeled my kitchen this past summer, including the demo, and installed new cabinets, tile, backsplash, and re-finished the wood floor. It was completed in a reasonable time without any surprises. I would recommend them for any project, big or small.
Arcady did an excellent job in assembling and installing IKEA kitchen cabinets for my condo in Cambridge. He understood my needs exactly and had good solutions for them, and he often made good suggestions that I eventually took. My condo is old and has very limited space, so there was not enough space for a 24-inch dishwasher with standardized IKEA kitchen cabinet widths. However, Arcady was able to cut and customize IKEA cabinets nicely, and this allowed me to secure enough space for a 24-inch dishwasher. He also made a custom white cabinet to be fit above my refrigerator. On the day after the major installation day, he came again and spent a few hours for fine-tune and small adjustments. He knows IKEA cabinets really well. I'd highly recommend him to people!
Chris did a great job on our custom cabinets.
Working with L.J.V. Carpentry was a dream come true. Leo's a great communicator, puts everything in writing, has an excellent eye for detail. We had him do a complete redo of our kitchen and dining room - all built ins. He worked to install and/or coordinate the installation of all cabinets; appliances; floors; painting; tileing; plastering; all the details AND did the whole job within one month including all the town inspections. Looking forward to having him back to do other work in our home with complete confidence.
Igor was great and helped me complete my kitchen remodeling that had gone wrong horribly with Home Depot. Then I got another guy and he messed up the cabinets, but Igor came in and completed the job and made the kitchen functional as well as look great. I will highly recommend him and also use him for all my future jobs around the house.
Dan installed a butcher block countertop on some newly installed cabinets. We'd ordered the butcher block custom-made and then realized upon receipt that the company didn't do installs. Dan was willing to come out to do this small job for a fair price. Dan was friendly and knowledgeable and when we realized that the cabinets had settled improperly - leaving a noticeable gap between the counter and two cabinets - he walked through my options, including figuring out whether he could stick around and re-install the cabinets for me. We ended up choosing to just install some filler on our own, but Dan seemed to actually care that he walked through how to do it so it would look good in the end. One of the problems with this review is that I can't guarantee quality of work until the butcher block has expanded/contracted over multiple seasons. I had to leave before the end of the install, but Dan was willing to take a call from me and walk through the ways he'd relieved the butcher block to account for minimal expansion of the wood. He also gave a "I stand behind my work" spiel and said I could always call in the future if the countertop buckles and he'd come and fix it. He spoke frequently about how his real passion is custom cabinetry and kitchen additions. Obviously, I can't speak to his work on cabinetry, but if you want an attentive, easy-to-deal with contractor for a future kitchen job I feel like Dan is a good bet.
