We recently had our basement finished with Flawless construction, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire process was smooth and well-organized. The team was professional, punctual, and patient to work with. The quality of workmanship is excellent — clean finishes, great attention to detail, and everything was done exactly as discussed. Any questions or small changes we had along the way were addressed quickly and professionally. The crew kept the space clean and respected our home throughout the project. In fact, the team’s recommendations for the overall basement design and layout helped us design it even better for a toddler-friendly play space. Their input was thoughtful and practical, and it made a big difference in how functional the space turned out. Our basement has been completely transformed into a beautiful, functional living space. We used Flawless Construction for an extensive home renovation in Medford, MA. The scope of work for our project included 2 bathroom additions, a kitchen renovation, and hardwood floor installation. Murilo met with us multiple times to understand what work we were envisioning, and gave us comprehensive, transparent, and competitive quotes for the work involved. Murilo and his team handled all permit applications and coordinated all inspections required throughout the entire project. My partner and I picked out, purchased, and inventoried most of the finishing materials for the project on-site, including kitchen appliances, tile, grout, vanity, faucets, toilets, cabinets, and sinks. Murilo and his subcontractors handled procurement of all construction materials and hardwood required. Murilo’s subcontractors were all professional, friendly, and did high quality work. In the few occasions when we pointed out to Murilo mistakes or workmanship that wasn’t up to our standards, he’d almost always make sure it was corrected at no additional cost to us to make things right. We put our deposit down in mid-July and submitted our final payment just before Christmas, so the entire project was completed in about 5 months – but the bulk of the work was completed earlier and in the order that we had dictated (we wanted the hardwood floors and kitchen prioritized ahead of the bathrooms, since we had an existing bathroom that was still functional). Murilo communicated with us via group text throughout the project to keep us looped in on how work was progressing. He also stopped by to walk through the final bill in person (we added some scope over the course of the project, as you do), and also hand-delivered a personal gift at the end of our project. We’ve already recommended him to multiple of our friends in the area considering renovation work, and are happy customers who are glad that we chose to work with him on this renovation! Note that Murilo does not handle shower glass – we used Luxe and were very happy with them.
