- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't believe a couple should have to spend a fortune to get married. For that reason, I try to keep my prices very affordable. The State of Massachusetts allows for $150 fee for any weddings outside of my immediate hometown, but I've expanded that to a ten mile radius. My base fee is $100, which covers the ceremony and local travel. An additional travel charge is applied for weddings beyond a ten mile radius from my hometown of Malden.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Unlimited phone calls and emails are included free of charge with my services. I like to take as much time as necessary to put the nervous couple at ease and answer all their questions completely. I encourage my clients to share with me the history of their relationship, their values and special memories. This information aids me in writing their vows and personalizing the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a non-denominational minister who was raised in the Catholic Church but now am a student of Humanistic philosophy. Additionally, I have years of professional experience with speech writing, public speaking, event organization and community volunteer coordination.
