About

"For the past three years my high school aged son has taken piano lessons from Bulent. In all that time he has been consistently patient, kind, enthusiastic and inspiring. Bulent used every minute to provide the best instruction, correction and encouragement. His love of music is evident as he often shared suggestions and links for video and live performances. His rates are quite reasonable for individual instruction and he is accommodating to scheduling conflicts. I recommend him unreservedly! I have read some of the other positive reviews of Bulent and I can attest to the truthfulness of all of them - there is no exaggeration. Bulent is a remarkable human being and a wonderful teacher." About

I have been taking piano lessons from Marietta since October 2014 at her studio in Watertown, MA. I am a thirty something year professional who decided to learn piano and have been looking for a piano teacher for a while until finally found Marietta on Thumbtack. Upon meeting her I realized that she is the one and my search is over. Marietta is a highly professional piano teacher, she is patient with beginner students like me and very passionate about teaching. She has students at all ages and levels. She highly emphasizes on correct coordination and technique and make sure you have adopted the right hand skills before she moves on to the next lesson. She is very nice, supportive and approachable and you can always ask any questions you might have. I live and work far from Watertown, but I think piano lessons with Marietta is totally worth the 15 mile commute.

Here's what our clients have to say about our voice program: "It wasn't until I came to Bristol that I heard the analogy. Why would you take tap dancing from a ballet instructor? And that seemed to hit the nail right on the head. I'm a punk rock singer, but I had basically been going to people who were trying to teach me classical music." "Now when I sing, I'm able to visualize my voice and do everything that I'm visualizing for the song, whereas before I didn't really understand what I was doing. I just kind of did it because that was the way I always did it and I never really examined my singing until Ric Poulin broke it down for me." "I think so many people out there are seeing vocal teachers who don't know what they're talking about. And that's the difference. If your vocal coach is unable to get you out of the mud, then guess what dude, you're wasting your money. It's as simple as that." ~ A.B. (lead singer of international/major label punk/rock band) "Taking lessons with Ric was a great investment and it really helped me maximize my potential as a pop singer! I used to strain to 'belt' out the higher notes. I learned the correct technique during the first lesson. I don't hurt myself anymore! My voice changed completely and became more powerful after 3 lessons with Ric. It killed me in retrospect to think about how much money I spent on lessons with the wrong teachers prior to finding Bristol." ~ J.T. of JADA, Universal/Motown
