Working with Ken was a dream after many frustrations with other contractors lately! We hired him to redo the flooring on our stairs (after Home Depot did a terrible job!), install a banister, fashion a cabinet to cover an ugly electrical box, and fix a few doors that would no longer close due to the house shifting. Ken was prompt in his communication, available to come out and give estimates quickly, showed up when he said he was going to, and completed all jobs in a timely manner. Additionally, we were so impressed with how thoroughly he cleaned up after each days work-it’s like he hadn’t even been there! His quality of work, flexibility to solve problems on the spot and attention to detail were extremely impressive. Would absolutely hire again in a heartbeat!

Rainstone Construction hung new drywall and replaced hardwood flooring in a bedroom. Ken is professional, trustworthy, a great communicator and shows up when scheduled. The quality of the work is outstanding!

We had Ken replace an entry door for us. We are very happy with the finished product, the responsiveness, the professionalism. From the first call, we could tell he knew what needed to be done. We were advised on the best option for the best result. Once we agreed, he moved quickly to get the job completed and at a very reasonable price. He kept us informed all along the project. We will definitely reach out to Ken again for future even bigger projects.

Hire Ken! We are so glad we did. When we first bought our home in 2018, there were some clear projects we needed done. We hired Ken to tackle most of them and since then have worked with him on projects in almost every room of our house. From installing new front steps, to building closets, to installing cabinets, to painting, to taking down wallsKen can do it all. We find he's particularly great at carpentry work. We live in a place built in 1875 and it's very quirky; no project is straightforward. And over time he's come to get to know us and our home quite well, which is always helpful when considering to take on a new renovation. As homeowners it gives us a sense of comfort to have someone like Ken that we can lean on as problems arise, we think of new ideas, and our family grows and needs different things from our home.
