I reached out to thumbtack to find professionals who were really good at writing resumes and I had several writers (including Karen) who responded. I narrowed it down to 2 (which included Karen) and immediately contacted both. I wasn't able to reach both parties so I left a message on both voicemails. Our company hired Martha (Penny) Guyer to work with us writing for a New York State grant. As usual we had an aggressive deadline, a number of questions to answer and no real idea on where to start.
