Having Kyie as my personal trainer is like having a personal coach, someone with the knowledge and experience. Who will push you to be better! Kyie was hard but I can honestly say I left the gym feel strong!

All I can saw is...wow. Mica is probably one of he most informed, driven, and inspirational trainers I've worked with. She's always honest with me and our sessions are never boring. I've lost a couple pounds in the past few weeks already and my abs are starting to look more toned. She taught me that losing weight isn't what training is all about, it's about eating right so I can lead a healthier life. Personal trainers really make a difference but Mica changed my life completely. Thanks again, Mica, can't wait for the next time we meet!
Billy is a fantastic personal trainer. He has an impressive background with a very diverse clientele, which shows his comfortability, competency, and versatility in all different levels. He is laid-back, personable, knowledgeable, and it is clear that he has our best interests in mind - he talks to me like a real person, not a customer. He is always on-time and I never feel rushed in my work-outs (even though I’m late half the time..). Billy tailor-fits and personalizes programs to suit my needs and goals, whether it is my long term goal of body transformation, or just wanting to add more core work-outs for that particular day, for example. He is able to constitute exercises as we go, and always changes it up, which keep the sessions fun and challenging. I appreciate how he focuses on proper dieting aspects as well. Lastly, Billy is very in-depth and precise in communicating what I am doing and why. He educates you on exercise selection and order, proper form, what muscles are being targeted, etc. to maximize results, which some personal trainers don’t do. Because of this, he has instilled enough confidence in me needed to perform the exercises on my own. With a decent amount of options here on Thumbtack, I am very happy with my choice with New School Fitness and highly recommend Billy. I feel more energetic, fit, and overall healthier and happier. :)
Ross Hardaway has been my personal trainer for the past three months. I meet with him for two 45 minute sessions per week and I have definitely met my goals of becoming stronger and more fit overall. I had previously worked with 2 other personal trainers and I have been extremely happy with Ross. In addition to pushing me to a higher level of fitness, Ross's workouts are fun and interesting. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a personal trainer.
Annie is hands down the best trainer I have ever worked with. She is very punctual and has been nothing but accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Working with Ryan has been a transformative experience for me to say the least. I have always worked out, but never with a personal trainer. I thought, “I know how to lift weights and do sit ups!”. Well, I found out that I didn’t know as much as I thought I did. While working with Ryan I learned how to specifically isolate my problem areas. (flabby arms, stomach etc.) One of the things I appreciated the most was the thoroughness of Ryan’s instruction. He explained how each exercise he added to my regiment affected different areas of my body. Ryan is serious about helping you reach your work out goals, and he has a gracious spirit with a can-do and positive attitude. I went from not being able to do one push-up to doing ten respectable push—ups!! Thanks Ryan!
Janey is amazing. His enthusiasm, professionalism and fun attitude completely changed my perspective on personal training. For less than two months, I have developed so much confidence on weight training/ interval training and really started to see results of my training. My legs have gotten much stronger and I have lost two pounds of fat in exchange for muscles. Most importantly, I have developed a habit of going to the gym even outside our personal training sessions. I'm not a fan of the gym (or working out in general) so looked around for in-home personal training options. I figured if someone was going to show up at my house, I'd be less likely to find excuses. I found NLF and signed up for the $20 trial session. I felt more comfortable training with a woman so selected Myra to train me. I really liked the trial session so when the president of the company called to see if I'd want to keep training, I decided to go for it. He helped me try to find a program that was within my budget and has been very helpful throughout my membership. Myra has been an amazing trainer, mixing things up each week and even making a modified routine for me after I had to have a minor medical procedure. Personal training is rather pricey but NLF seems to be on par for other in-home training programs I've seen. And if you sign up for a longer period of time, each session is less expensive. If you want to workout at home, I highly recommend NLF (and Myra).
Mark is a great trainer. We have been training with him in our home five mornings a week for two months. He mixes the workouts up and makes them fun. We are already seeing results. I highly recommend his services.
Tom has been great! He comes to our home to do personal training for both of us- we are a couple in our early 60s and he has been able to tailor a program for each of us based on our specific needs. He is a very personable, smart and experienced personal trainer. We highly recommend him.

Chad is an excellent trainer and a great person to work with. He works with and challenges you to achieve your goals. He also tests out exercises on himself before the session. Since starting training with Chad, I have experienced improved health and great results.
Paul is an excellent personal trainer. He has introduced me to a wide range of exercises, provided helpful instruction on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and always challenges me to do my best. Paul is extremely flexible and committed. We've even done video training while I was traveling. Highly recommended!
I was looking for a personal trainer who could come to my home (or a nearby gym) and who could help me train despite various back/neck/knee problems. I have tried other trainers (and have had a few good experiences), but most of the time I find that trainers cannot be flexible and focus on my specific issues rather than general ones. Ricardo is very patient, looks happy, and is energetic, thus giving me the energy to do things I don't always want to do.
Emily is one of the best trainers out there! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. When I first found her, she had me set long term and short term fitness/health goals and made sure I did not slack on them. She held me accountable and doesn't put up with any excuses, (which is something you want in a trainer, trust me!) I was originally 150 pounds and my goal weight was 135, I can officially say that I have not only reached my goal but ALSO maintained the weight. Emily knows her stuff, she is very educated about the human body and personal training. She also has her yoga certification, which also helped during training because she helped improve my flexibility. If anyone is looking for a personal trainer/yoga instructor, this is the gal to go to. She is also quick to respond and is punctual. I would definitely 100% recommend her to anyone, she is FABULOUS. :)
