I did the online GMAT tutoring with Steve. I mostly needed help with Quant but a little Verbal as well. I went from 520 to 730 with a lot of hard work. Fantastic tutoring.
Ryan has been great in helping our son prepare for the PSAT/SAT. Very professional.
He is kind and soft spoken and has very nice teaching style. He has been very helpful tutoring my daughter with honors physics.
Great help with my sat prep. Very knowledgeable and will see results.
My son is a 15 year old in Honors Algebra II at Worcester Academy. He never had much trouble with math in the past, but this class was challenging him and his grades were slipping. Oliver really helped him to fill in the missing parts of his understanding and to feel more confident. My son really liked Oliver's approach and enjoyed his tutoring sessions, and his grades improved significantly. Oliver is very easy to work with as a parent-- he is responsive to calls and messages, understanding about schedule changes, and is very generous with his time-- we scheduled for an hour, but Oliver often stayed longer when he was really engaged in his teaching. I would definitely hire Oliver again for my kids.
I asked Brandon on relatively short notice to help tutor my daughter for her math SAT's. He was responsive, as he answered quickly. He seemed able to do an assessment of her needs, and address his teaching accordingly. We called with relatively little time before the test, but he helped her use some helpful strategies. And her SAT's improved as well. If she were to take the SAT's again (I think we are done with that part, thankfully), I would definitely ask him to work with her again, and I would definitely recommend him.
John came on time and was a great help to my daughter, helping her with the math section of the SAT. He has also told her to contact him with any subsequent questions. I would recommend him to anyone.
I have known Angela for six years and she is kind to her students and very patient. She is very knowledgeable about the piano and her students really enjoy her lessons. She works very hard to make sure that her students continue growing and learn to love the piano. i have enjoyed each lesson with her.
Kathie was professional, on time, wasn't a clock watcher and kept in touch through email with my daughter throughout the week if she had something to send her outside of the tutoring session. She kept my daughter engaged and I would use her again. I don't know the results yet of her SAT's but I will follow up.
I had Kristen as my tutor for two years. She is very reliable, organized, and most importantly, patient. If I struggled with a certain subject or assignment, she knew how to break the subject matter down into a way that was easy for me to understand. Every time I met with her, she always had a smile on her face and was excited to see me. As a student, it is a great feeling to go into a tutoring session feeling comfortable and welcomed. I would definitley recommend Kristen as a tutor!
My daughter was matched quickly with a terrific totor and her confidence is way up in time for school!!
I believe that what makes my tutoring, college application assistance, and career development services stand out is my ability to get to know my clients and their backgrounds, interests, and needs for assistance very quickly and very well. This ability of mine to zero in on a client and their particular educational or career situation and needs makes it possible for me to quickly revise a client's resume, find and suggest terrific options for them, whether that be the list of colleges that I believe they should consider applying to or the employers to which I recommend that they send their resume in search of their next job. In addition, I not only have strong interpersonal skills and can usually immediately connect with a client, but I am a good listener with excellent follow-up skills and a strong network of contacts that I readily call upon on behalf of my clients. I also was an A+ student during my entire K-12 education, & was Valedictorian of the Class of 1985 of Sacred Heart H.S. in Kingston, MA. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University & a Master of Education degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. In short, I can help both your chlld w/ their specific academic issues and/or their overall study skills so that they not only do better in school, but graduate and go onto college successfully, AND yourself with regard to updating your resume & assisting you with developing an effective strategy for job search or career change.
Michael provided SAT tutoring for my son. He provided excellent structure, feedback, and tools for mastering the exam. My son enjoyed working with him very much and achieved excellent scores. I recommend Michael without reservation.

There are a number of things I do that stand out. First, I'm not out to make a big profit from this. You get the amount of service you need, and meet the goals that are realistic, at a reasonable price. There is nobody, and I do mean NOBODY! who can teach some learning disabled kids better, faster, and to the best of their abilities than I can. I have recommendations from professional peers, a recent supervisor, and parents that will tell you that, time and time again. I can - when conditions are right - teach people how to tell which hand is which, In ONE TO FOUR MINUTES. These are severely dyslexic people, who have NEVER been able to tell their right hand from their left, through ages 11 to 21. Sound impossible? It's real. I travel to you, unless you'd rather meet somewhere central, like a local library. So much of what you pay goes to car expense. To balance costs, I use longer tutoring sessions of 1 to 2 hours per session, and fewer sessions, when possible. When you can't sit that long, we take short breaks and / or have shorter sessions anyway.
