I own and manage several rentals. I'm extremely well aquainted with handyman, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc and I have been disappointed more times than I count - by crazy high prices, repeated canceled appointments, bad communication or just shoddy work. I'm also a young (ish) female and constantly deal with contractors thinking I don't know anything and thinking they can take advantage. I was so grateful to find Joe. He first helped me with a couple of small electrical jobs. His rates were so reasonable that I was nervous, but he turned out to be incredibly knowledgable. One thing I always look for in contractors is how willing they are to explain to me what they're doing. I know this can be really annoying for some people, so I extra appreciate when someone is patient and willing to teach or at least answer my questions when I ask. Joe was so friendly, honest, and encouraging. I even asked him if he thought I could do some simple tasks on my own and he taught me how to do them and told me I wouldn't need him next time for the little stuff. In contrast, other contractors will not tell me anything in an attempt to squeeze as much money out of me as possible. I've had contractors come and fix something literally by tightening a few screws that were loose, then deliberately try to hide that fact from me so that the next time the piece got loose again I would have to call them out for another $200. I get it, it's business, but that makes people like Joe even more rare. He genuinely cares about his customers and even when he could charge so much more (like changing a water heater on Christmas Eve) he doesn't. I almost hesitate to post this review because I selfishly don't want him to be booked all the time, because I call him constantly. But good people deserve recognization.

It was a pleasure having Belbel and his team completely renovate my attic into not only living quarters but with a full size bathroom as well. Very professional, they cleaned up after each visit which I appreciated, and they were understanding with all my wants and needs. I highly recommend!

Belbel installed a water heater last minute for us during the holidays which we truly appreciate and he was so reasonable with the price.
