I've been working out for years, but what I realized after training with Tammy, there is a better, more enjoyable, more efficient way to achieve the results I wanted. Tammy is very flexible and accommodating with helping me find time to work out with both, our busy schedules and she is extremely reliable. She is professional and easy to communicate with when I have a question, need to make changes, or need to coordinate future training sessions. The workouts are designed perfectly for my specific wants and needs. Tammy definitely knows what she is doing and she actually makes the work outs enjoyable. She is very easy to connect with and talk too. If you are considering working out with a trainer or just interested in learning what it would be like to work out with a trainer, you should reach out to Tammy and schedule a work out.
Antrofit is hands down the best training company you will find. Johnny Loretti is an absolute beast in every sense of the word. His knowledge, experience and excitement for his job were all things that helped take my body to the next level. From his meal plans to training routines, he transformed my body into exactly what I was looking for (in a fraction of the time I thought it would take). He is there at a drop of a hat to answer all of my questions and always makes sure I'm feeling my best. I highly recommend using Anthrofit and Johnny - I promise you will thank yourself.
Nancy was an amazing trainer; I would recommend her for anyone who is interested in hiring a personal trainer. She was always very professional and tailored my workouts to exactly what I needed. She made my training sessions a lot of fun and challenged me to push myself harder. I do not have enough good things to say about this woman! Thank you Nancy for investing time in me and helping me get closer to my goals!
As someone whose former workouts consisted strictly of hours of trite cardio and whose nutrition came from a blend of fad diets and eating whatever I wanted when those diets inevitably failed, I needed a change: Lou gave me an entirely new outlook on exercise and nutrition. Perhaps more importantly, he made me really excited about living a healthier lifestyle, which I think is key for anyone who wants long-term results. Lou is most definitely a fitness-and-nutrition nerd in the best way possible and, unlike many PTs, he actually practices what he preaches. He’s amassed a staggering wealth of knowledge from years of personal and professional experience, and stays abreast of the science and studies that support the advice he provides his clients. His training sessions are always challenging, interesting, and fun. He takes the time to explain how to do an exercise and why it’s effective (though you will certainly feel it's effects the next day!) and motivates you to do far more in the gym than you thought you could. Moreover, his services don’t end when you finish your session; I text him often with nutrition and fitness inquiries. He’s always quick to respond and encourages me to keep asking questions-- not just because he clearly loves the subject matter, but also because he genuinely cares about his clients. In an industry replete with fitness frauds and fallacious fads, Lou is a refreshing change and is essential for anyone who wants real, lasting results. Thanks, Lou!
We started training immediately , and it’s going great
Mica is definitely your PERSONAL trainer! She really know what she is doing and my abs are finally starting to show! I'm so happy that I chose her as her prices really aren't that bad (I've had some expensive and BORING trainers). I feel as if motivation is one of the most important aspects when it comes to changing your body because it really is a difficult process. Mica makes it easy! Her approach to training is one of the best I've experienced thus far. Definitely sticking with her!
Trent is the best trainer :) I lost 16 lb in two months, I feel much stronger, sleep much better. my endurance has greatly improved threw the course of training. The training are very hard, but worth it.
I signed on with Will around the 7th of July and began regular training sessions with him on the 15th of that month. By the end of August (6 or 7 weeks later), I had lost 15 pounds and completely revamped my diet. Will's approach focused on 3 areas: what you eat, how you train while you're with him and how you train when you're not. I believe my sessions with Will were so successful because he refused to listen to excuses for why I hadn't been working or eating properly and because he constantly pushes you to go further and try harder than you think you can. After every session, my body was sore but I felt like I had accomplished something. I don't really have anything negative to say. The sessions aren't cheap but they are in line with what one pays elsewhere. Also, Will has a pretty mediocre taste in music but he makes up for it with his taste in television shows and movies. Overall, I'd definitely give him 5 out of 5 stars. There is no way that I would have been so successful in putting my health back on track without Will and I've already signed up for another set of sessions with him.
Care is an extremely hard worker and wants the best out of her clients. She works around your schedule the best she can and always figures out a way to make it work so you don't miss a training day. Cara is truly a professional who motivates you to the fullest. There was times I wanted to give up but Cara was there to push me through. She will reach out even on off days to see how you are doing - I know this really helped me because I was able to always keep up with pushing myself to workout when I didn't see her. I can honestly say I will never try another trainer- Cara will always be the one!
Janey is amazing. His enthusiasm, professionalism and fun attitude completely changed my perspective on personal training. For less than two months, I have developed so much confidence on weight training/ interval training and really started to see results of my training. My legs have gotten much stronger and I have lost two pounds of fat in exchange for muscles. Most importantly, I have developed a habit of going to the gym even outside our personal training sessions. I think this is the most important part of this experience and I hope to keep up this habit for the rest of my life. Thank you Janey!
I’ve worked with Danielle and found her very knowledgeable and caring. We concentrated on balance and flexibility and targeting specific muscle groups. Her workouts are fun and challenging but always different which made training something to look forward to instead of a chore.
I'm not a fan of the gym (or working out in general) so looked around for in-home personal training options. I figured if someone was going to show up at my house, I'd be less likely to find excuses. I found NLF and signed up for the $20 trial session. I felt more comfortable training with a woman so selected Myra to train me. I really liked the trial session so when the president of the company called to see if I'd want to keep training, I decided to go for it. He helped me try to find a program that was within my budget and has been very helpful throughout my membership. Myra has been an amazing trainer, mixing things up each week and even making a modified routine for me after I had to have a minor medical procedure. Personal training is rather pricey but NLF seems to be on par for other in-home training programs I've seen. And if you sign up for a longer period of time, each session is less expensive. If you want to workout at home, I highly recommend NLF (and Myra).
Tom Doherty is an amazing personal trainer. Over the past 25 years, I have sought personal training expertise from at least 10 different individuals and interviewed twice as many. Sometimes, I was looking for help to tone and build strength. Other times, I was seeking a training program for a particular race or to participate in a particular athletic adventure (e.g. mountain climbing or a road bike tour). Over the years, I discovered that most trainers were basically offering the same thing, but maybe with a few different machines or a few different exercises. Tom’s skill set is one I have not come close to finding in any other professional. In addition to his bachelors degree in exercise physiology and experience working with college athletes as well as golfers, he has pursued extensive ongoing training in functional exercise and has developed a significant expertise in corrective exericse. He can recognize specific weaknesses or areas where the body is compensating for other places where it shouldn’t be. He has helped me recover from countless minor issues with pain or injury as well as significant issues with back pain which had sidelined me from most athletic activities. He loves what he does and it shows. He is funny, engaging and has a range of interests and experiences that are inspiring and thought provoking. He is knowledgeable about overall fitness as well as ultimate sports. He has raced in many marathons as well as 100+ mile team races. He is an avid snow boarder, runner, golfer and mountain bike rider. But, most importantly, professionally, he is intensely focused on each individual client’s health and well-being, paying particular attention to the person’s goals, blind spots, habits, motivations, and practices. His assessments of overall body balance, alignment and strength along with one’s injuries, pain, and endurance/fitness are targeted and informative. He educates clients about their particular body status and puts training plans together that prioritize the right set of strengthening and repair (as needed), so that whatever needs addressing first receives the right attention. He understands injuries and how other professional interventions can assist recovery (e.g. physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, etc.), so his training programs can work in conjunction with such therapies. His expertise is appropriate for those wishing to develop more elite athletic skills to those healing from injuries, eager to get back in shape. While his main client population is adults (ages 20s to 50s), he also has expertise in working with older adults and teenagers. He has had great success engaging older adults who may have lifelong habits, practices or injuries that need repair and correction along with light education. His training programs are targeted for the appropriate strength, mobility and capacities of the older individual. On the other end of the spectrum, he is a fabulous trainer of adolescents, girls and boys, understanding the different body types, developmental issues and appropriate training guidelines that can help educate young people about their own bodies as well as about their fitness capacities and goals. I highly recommend Tom as a personal trainer for these many different populations and targeted needs. He excels in this profession he loves. He is far more sophisticated than most “standard” personal trainers. He is committed to what he does and to ongoing learning about new developments and approaches in his various areas of expertise. Clients will learn far more than they might have imagined in their work with Tom Doherty.
I called Brendan just over a year ago to get on a training schedule with him in preparation for my wedding. Not only have I lost a substantial amount of weight, my quality of life has sky rocketed. Brendan attains a particularly optimistic attitude that not only has helped me to stick with the work outs, but has somewhat changed the way I live my life. I couldn’t thank Brendan enough for all he has done for me. HE GETS IT! I would recommend him to any goal oriented person. Thanks B!
Hector helped me get ready for a wedding. He challenged me and pushed me outside my comfort zone (running) to incorporate more weight training. He also explained how that would help improve my running and be better for me as a whole.
Mark was my trainer at a large Boston health club. The first thing I noticed about his training time which separated him from other trainers I have had was that the entire time we were working together his attention was entirely on me. He never looked at his watch, talk to other trainers, or even looked around the gym. He could read my face and knew to push me when I didn't like something. He didn't need to ask. His suggestions were always spot on. He was never late, he never canceled. I've had several experiences before and since. But none of them matched the skills or professionalism Mark put forward. Anyone, at any skill level, would be lucky to work with him
I signed up for 3 months of training with Chad in April with the hope to lose weight, build strength and not cringe at the thought of exercising after work. I was a little hesitant to commit to two training sessions a week since it had been almost 2 years since I had exercised on a regular basis (since my son was born) but Chad was patient and explained each move and the proper form in an understandable way for me. I was nervous of what my capabilities would be after being out of the game for so long. The feeling of intimidation subsided within the first few minutes of my first workout with Chad due to his personable and friendly way. That first work out was a killer at the time and 15 minutes in I was sweating hard but I loved it and couldn't wait to come back for more! Each session is different and Chad is an excellent trainer who puts a lot of thought and effort into the workouts he plans for me. In 3 months have I gained so much physical strength and I also have noticed positive changes in my energy level, mindset, sleeping habits and food choices. I dont dread going to the gym after work anymore. His passion for fitness and his desire to help people is what made me renew for another 3 months of training and I am excited to see more results in my weight loss and physical strength journey.
If convenience, motivation and progress is what you need (rather than a fancy gym membership you never use), then Slava is your guy. I couldn't recommend him more highly. My wife and I have been training with Slava for about 8 months. As a personal trainer who works out at our house he's the perfect motivator for us. We are busy professional parents who have been active in the past but who lack time and self-motivation -- Slava has got me in better shape than I've been since my twenties. As a parent of young kids himself he understands how busy life can be -- but that doesn't mean he lets you slack off. The workouts are tough, but never too tough. He knows just how much to push you. He also mixes up the routines so they never get boring. I'm just stunned by how much my fitness has improved -- I've dropped a pant size, run a half marathon in my best time in 10 years, massively improved my functional fitness, and feel excited to exercise. He's also very supportive and works with a wide range of clients helping them improve their fitness. He always shows up on time (even at 5.30am), goes above and beyond in being responsive, and works around my schedule when I'm traveling. In summary: an outstanding experience.
Cinthya was not just knowledgeable but caring every day I trained with her. I thank her for my consistency with getting healthy after my surgery. I lost weight, got stronger and enjoyed it which was for sure a bonus! I highly recommend her!!
I had shoulder surgery a while back. When I was done with physical therapy my strength was nowhere near where it was before the injury. After 3 months of training with Zeus I was not only back to where I was but I was stronger!
Michael at Dragon Personal Training not only helped me lose the weight I wanted to but helped me find my lost motivation to go to the gym and to continue going. Such a great guy and even better trainer. Highly recommended!!
