Coach Lynn helps me in my career transition, as well as she designed my CV, trained me for interviews and enhanced my communication skills. I am convinced that she is awesome Executive Life Coach. All of my meetings and interactions with her were highly informative, helpful and I was able to gain more confidence to accomplish my goals. Coach Lynn was incredibly effective throughout my job search. Amazingly, within the month of our interactions I was able to get an excellent job. Moreover, new avenues for my career development have opened with her efforts. I am very satisfied with career coaching from Coach Lynn Johnson. Chris has been hired numerous times to instructor training and facilitate focus groups for our clients. He is very engaging and dynamic in his delivery and knows how to relate to any type of audience leaving the participants with a positive educational experience. I would only suggest that he finds some way of making sure any pre or post-training adiminstration details gets taken care of more effectively. But regardless he delivers an exceptional training when it's time.

Professor Craig was the instructor of the Advanced Writing course that I attended at the AACC's Center for Cyber and Professional Training campus. He was very well-versed in the subject and, with ease, kept all of the attendees engaged. Even after lunch! Professor Craig is very professional, witty and possesses great story telling skills! I genuinely enjoyed my time in his class and believe that all who have him as their instructor will share the same sentiments.

I met Sandy four years ago. Through running and knowing some of the same people, Sandy and I talked about running and I began following her blog. It is easy to see that Sandy is a special person in many ways. She takes the time to listen, understand, and you can feel her positive energy. When I made the decision to train for my first Marathon, I was overrun with fear. So much so that I skipped my initial training. I confided in Sandy and she helped motivate me to push thru my fear and thru that and her cheering me on I did get to training, I did complete that Marathon and some of that glory goes to her for her support. Sandy is made of grace and of grit. She completed and finished a 100 mile ultra race. So not everyone will run. Maybe it is a new career path, maybe a life changing course you are on...a fork in the road, weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. Sandy knows what it takes to be fit, to make some tough decisions and go on. Even when its not all smooth sailing. I would highly recommend her. After all, anyone who has the stick to it ness to give her all in running and in life has my vote.

As a teacher/vocal coach in NYC, I have worked with a variety of organizations and companies---all focused on Accent Reduction/Dialects, Voice, ESL, etc. In my experience, American Cultural Immersion is at the top! This company truly cares about its clients and their success, and there is a personal touch to the way clients are dealt with.

Claire is a phenomenal voice teacher. I've been training off and on since I was 10 years old (now 25) and have performed through The University of Michigan, Capital University, and All State choirs. Claire truly understands a young singer's needs and has a keen eye for problems and ways to improve. If I hadn't changed locations I would still be studying with her: I highly recommend!

About

I am one of the most effective and personable tutors you'll ever meet! Why? It is because for over 25 years, I have studied the brain and learning, and I have taught in many settings. I am a creative teacher who is using many ways for concepts to be understood. For example, I have sets of fraction pies, and the circles are divided evenly by different numbers of cuts. I tell stories to help kids use these fraction pies and be able to learn through the hands by picking up the pieces and rearranging them. In general, my tutoring begins, believe it or not, with babies! I do that by training the parents on how to set up an environment conducive to optimized learning. Did you know that during the first 2 years a baby operates mainly from the right side of the brain? I teach parents how to take advantage of that fact to help their babies develop. These are all done in 4 minutes/day with love and fun. For preschoolers, I teach, in a very interactive way, any major subject, including STEM subjects, namely science, technology, engineering and math. My specialty here is teaching about other cultures, eating, making art, the animals there, the language, the music and the mythology. Kids love it! For elementary through high school students, I can help in English, including reading comprehension, effective book selection and growing vocabulary as well as writing clearly for essays, papers and correspondence. I offer math tutoring, from the beginning to calculus, social studies, self-discipline, getting and staying organized, time management and more. I also help with beginning French, Spanish and Japanese. I specialize in teaching English to speakers of other languages. I use what I've studied for over 25 years. I have the brain and the learning to make my lessons more effective. Kids learn the strategies they can apply right away in the future to improve their memory and performance. Testimonials and referrals are available. Just call! If you don't see it here, just ask!
