I approach guitar lessons in a different way than most teachers. Having now taught more than 4,000 guitar lessons to over 200 different students, I have developed a unique style of explaining and demonstrating playing technique and music theory that is effective for a wide range of experience levels and musical styles.
I am not looking to force anything on my students. Instead, I find out what they actually want to learn, what types of music they like, and what their goals are. Then I create a series of custom lessons that allow them to quickly learn or improve their skills on the guitar.
In addition to teaching guitar, I also offer a full range of audio recording, editing, mixing and mastering services, as well as teaching recording and producing using Logic Pro/GarageBand software.
Playing music has been a lifelong passion of mine. Having spent thousands of hours honing my skills on the guitar and recording/mixing techniques, I find it very rewarding to share the knowledge I have built with others, and to allow them to find the same enjoyment with music as I do.

I’ve been working/recording with Tim for a few years now and he is fantastic! He’s a real pro when it comes to playing and recording guitar bass and vocals. He has a real talent for seeing somebody’s vision of a song and bringing it to life. Tim has a recording studio where he records, mixes and masters your music. He has a very hands on approach getting things done quickly while offering his advice on how to get your song sounding how you envision it. I’ve made about 20 songs with him and they all come out super professional sounding, they are all great quality songs that could easily be played on the radio. If you want to have a professional sounding record go in to Tim’s studio and get your song recorded. I’ve been playing guitar for years now and I’m finding there is always more to learn. Tim has helped my guitar playing greatly by teaching me guitar theory here and there throughout the years which has really helped my songwriting and performing. I highly recommend Tim for all your recording/guitar lesson needs!

Tim produced my album (10 songs) and did a fantastic job. His music knowledge was incredible and valuable in enhancing the songs I wrote into fully realized productions. I’ve been taking lessons with Tim for almost a year now. I’ve been playing for a few years and hit a road block in my playing and needed an instructor to help me get through it. When I reached out to Tim I was interested in expanding my knowledge with guitar as well as recording and mixing.
Within a few weeks with Tim I was able to get over that road block as he showed me a lot of new things with music theory, chord shapes, scales, techniques, etc. Once I had a better understanding of music theory we began recording and producing guitar pieces in Logic Pro in his studio. Tim showed me new techniques when recording guitar to make the production sound full and professional. Even when we’re just working on recording, I still learn new things on the guitar as well.
Tim is a very knowledgeable musician and music producer. He’s patient and willing to go at the pace you need. He’s also very flexible with scheduling and rescheduling sessions. I’d recommend Tim to anyone that is either learning to play for the first time or trying to grow from where they are.
