Curvan was reasonably priced, solved the issue in less than 20 minutes, had all his tools for the job, and stopped by Home Depot to get the parts before arriving. His additional advice and attention to detail was amazing. He even noticed that I had not applied plumbers putty to my sink drain and did that for me with no extra charge. To put the quality into perspective, I had two hires out on the same day. The other hire, used my tools and charged me $50 extra because he said my walls were uneven. There was a stark difference so I appreciate how easy Curvan made it and I would hire him again!"See more

Excellent service, quick response, and most importantly, a knowledgeable plumber! I am super happy with the service I received from Mr. Rooter through the Thumbtack app. I had a clogged tub drain in an old building built before codes were a thing. Not only did I not unclog the drain with my own efforts, I lost the end of the snake that I rented from Home Depot. Mr. Rooter communicated with me every step of the way and once Richard arrived, he did an amazing job of explaining everything as he went along. He was super knowledgeable and had all of the right tools to get the job done in about an hour. Richard was even able to retieve the failed screw and snake attachment that I originally lost in the drain. He was very transparent about pricing and gave me best and worse scenarios and pricing. I knew everything to expect. But since he was knowledgeable and careful, he was able to resolve my issue on the first attempt. He cleared the drain with his snake and he cleaned up after himself when he was done. To be honest, he didn't really make a mess to begin with. He charged my credit card and was on his way within about an hour. He was able to finish up in 60 mins in what took me 3 days of trying. And I consider myself an pretty good DIY'er. Something rang true with me though that my Dad used to tell me when I was a kid... "70% of every job is having the right tool, and 30% is elbow grease." Mr. Rooter had all of the tools and the knowledge and experience to get my job done!
