Pablo did a great job gutting a large home for me. He capped off everything and made it look neat and tidy without me having to go back and ask him for a more ‘finished’ looking job. I needed the space to show well as a shell and it did! Pablo worked independently, communicating with me by phone and text enough for me to feel confident he knew construction, since it was my first time working with him. He also was able to run the job through his company insurance, which is what I needed to go forward. Very nice guy!

Details: Remodel or renovation of existing deck or porch • No existing plans, but I know what I want • Residential

I had to re-roof my house after a rainstorm blew off some of my shingles. Apache Design Build LLC responded to my request for estimates promptly and came to my house to secure and secure the roof from further damage from the rains. The company was very professional in all aspects of the work. They even responded positively, and got done, my requests for additional work. Pablo and his men did an excellent work on my re-roofing project. I'd always recommend Apache Design Build LLC for all your roofing projects.

Details: Entire portions of roof need to be repaired • Three-story building • 21 - 30 years old • Asphalt shingles • Yes, insurance claim has already been approved • Residential

I was the owners rep and dealt with Apache DB the Contractor in charge of the entire build out of the presentation venue in Maui, Hawaii. Pablo Lopez was the Project Manager. It was Mr Lopez responsibility to deal with the Architect, Electrical Engineer, the HVACEngineer, the Plumbing Contractor and the Building Installers, Finishers and Lighting Subcontractors. Mr Lopez delivered an above average finished product before schedule and under the budget. I would be glad to recommend him to do an above average job. Pamela Anderson

The front porch of a duplex I just bought was in total disrepair along with the lattice underneath. Mr Lopez provided drawings of several options as well as choices of paint color. I was having a very hard time choosing so I asked for his recommendation. It was perfect!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I apprenticed with my father and grandfather starting at an early age. I was taught from the ground up, starting with drafting and blueprints, concrete and masonry, drywall and paint, and especially carpentry which was my favorite. My grandfather (a master builder and carpenter) had a huge wood shop and could build anything. I worked building additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and finishing basements from the ground up, all day everyday during my summer breaks. At 17 yrs old I started my first company called ASAP Building Plans and Permits. I drafted plans for decks, porches, additions, and even new homes. I would then pull the building permits for my projects. During my last 2 years in high school I would attend college as part of my curriculum. I attended Paire College of Art, as well as The Corcoran Institute of Art in Washington DC. Once graduated I went to Frostburg MD State College for a year.
