The computer was repaired super quickly (24 hours) and now works without a problem. He was very friendly and explained everything. The price was very reasonable. I would use him again.

Martins responded to my request for someone to repair an iMac (year 2007) that was refusing to finish booting. He suggested there were probably logical errors blocking the booting process from going forward. He quoted a reasonable price to fix it. He came over the next day and found a long list of errors using his diagnostic tool. However, when the diagnostic program itself stalled, he correctly diagnosed a failure of the hard drive. He suggested an agreeable price that would include a new hard drive, one that had triple the capacity of the drive on the computer. He took the computer with him and brought it back in less than 24 hours. In addition to replacing the hard drive he had completely restored it using my Time Machine external drive. After restoration, he checked again for further logical errors, found and corrected them. In the three days since, the computer has been working like new. His demeanor throughout was very professional and friendly. I could not be more pleased with his work, He will definitely be the first person I contact for any type of computer repair in the future.

I had managed to load some viruses which wouldn't even allow the computer to start, he picked up my laptop from my job and dropped it off the next day. It has been running well since. I'm very happy with the work he did.

Martins was the first professional to respond to my posting, and it was within 24 hours. His prices were upfront, clear, and reasonable.
My computer was not loading windows within 15 minutes and it refused to even load safe mode within 10 minutes. After talking on the phone with my usual computer service, they suspected that it was a failed hard drive and would cost at least $250 to fix.
I thought I would try Thumbtack for my first time, and I am very pleased with the result. Martins was courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and very professional. He was able to salvage all of my old files from my old hard drive and clone them identically on a new hard drive.
I would recommend Happy Home PC to everybody with computer problems in the DMV area. His business is the real deal.
