She is an ordained minister, rabbi, and pastor of the Universal Life Church (ULC), an organization which represents religious freedom in all its forms. At the ULC Ministries there is no hierarchy, all faiths are considered equal, and no deity is held above another. Dorothy performs Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, non-denominational, and non-religious weddings. She works with couples to create a wedding ceremony that uniquely fits their personalities and beliefs, including help writing vows.
Dorothy takes great pride in being part of a couple's celebration of love and commitment as they embark on a lifelong journey together. As a gay woman, performing same-sex ceremonies for the LGBTQ community holds a special place in her heart, but she enjoys working with straight couples as well.

If I could give Dorothy ten stars I gladly would. At every step, every moment, she surpassed our hopes and expectations as the perfect person to officiate our wedding. After selecting her as our officiant for a non-religious ceremony for a 30-guest wedding including family and dearest friends, we met personally in order for her to learn more about what we wanted, who we are, and what would be important for inclusion in the ceremony. At that meeting we hit it off so completely that I anticipate remaining friends with her in the future. I admire her intelligence, warmth, and sincerity so much. Dorothy learned that my fiance's family is French, and she incorporated a quotation, in French, from "La Petite Prince" in her readings. Not only did Dorothy use beautiful passages throughout the ceremony that we had selected, she opened with a warm, insightful welcome to all the guests, citing personal qualities and events that it would seem only a dear friend who has known us for a long time would say. Her delivery was well-paced, heartfelt, and so articulate. It was obvious Dorothy put a lot of time and effort into making the "official" part of our wedding perfect. Her price would be a bargain at double the rate, and she even traveled over 3 hours to get to our venue! I cannot recommend Dorothy highly enough if you are fortunate enough to acquire her for your officiant.

Not only was She was very professional, and knowledgeable, she was sweet as pie. Knew exactly how to take care of an ole lady with care pride and dignity. She was also non-judgemental. Fairly price and I'd use her again in a heartbeat👍🏾

Dorothy was great! My husband and I needed to have some documents notarized last minute on a weekend and she responded immediately and was so nice about accommodating our tight schedule. She was very pleasant and professional and exactly on time for our meeting. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again if the need arises!
