- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was during a casual conversation with a friend. I was giving her styling advice and she said to me, 'you should do this for a living, there are a lot of people like me who have no idea what they're doing.' And the next day I filed the paperwork to start my business!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Closet audits are popular. We all have a lot in our closet we buy and never wear or just don't know how to wear. I look at them as mini fashion shows- I like to have clients try on pieces they are unsure about or gems I find in their closet. I give myself an audit every few months to keep my style from getting stale and to make room for more!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be open to it. It's not like 'what not to wear' or other reality shows. I'm not out to criticize you or make you feel bad- just the opposite! A personalized experience with me is fun and informative and transformational!
