We hired them to finish our basement and he left us high and dry. They started late November and the contract date to finish was December 31. They would say they were coming and not show up. They kept moving the completion date. They stopped answering our calls. We paid them for the work. And we are stuck with an incomplete job!

Lance Samuels is simply the best. I have reached out to him through thumbtack without any reference. The first time we discussed the scope of work, I was convinced he is professional. He started the work on the day he will. His team members are very efficient, detailed oriented and know what they are doing. I was worried about my new hardwood floor as their job involves dismantling a wall. They take extra care to ensure nothing, even a scratch, happens on the floor. Lance is thoughtful, explains what he is doing thoroughly, and never worry about the money. He was focused on the quality of the work. He listens carefully and explains the different options in detail even when I suggest alterations. He handled unexpected events tactfully and patiently. He is truly a gentleman and his work is much more than the monetary value I paid.
