Latest Review: I hired Dominic Sbrega to teach my son how to play upright bass. I am a very thorough researcher, so I called conductors of local orchestras and bands to try to find the best teacher for my son. I was surprised that Dom’s name came up so frequently, given that he was still in high school. However, even at his young age, he had a great local and national reputation. As a result, I decided to give Dom a chance. Though my son was studying classical music, he was also interested in jazz. Dom was adept at teaching both. Dom was extremely patient and always very clear in his instructions. Dom’s lessons managed to be both demanding yet fun. My son adored him, enjoying every second of his lessons. I could not imagine a better bass teacher.

Latest Review: I am an adult who is taking piano lessons from Michael. At my request he helped me to learn some elements of jazz, including using a walking bass to add rhythm to tunes I play by ear. He also taught me to play new chords which also add interest to the songs I improvise. Michael is patient and has a good sense of humor. His lessons are both fun and informative. Michael's style of teaching reflects not only what the student needs to learn, but also what the student wants to learn. He respects the wishes of the student, but also makes suggestions, when appropriate.

Latest Review: From the moment I met Bethany, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I had never sung for anyone outside my immediate family and friends, so I was very nervous. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and before I knew it, I was knee deep in my first voice lesson and loving it. I had so much fun and learned a lot that I didn't know in just one half-hour lesson. I look forward to many more voice lessons with Bethany and signed up for the next month already. She has great communication, honesty and a wonderful spirit. So happy I chose to take lessons with her!

Latest Review: My 6 year old son and I both took piano lessons from Nanci and only stopped because we moved too far away. Nanci was wonderful to learn for both my son and I, she was very patient, knowledgable, personal. She always had something interesting to show us in music or something new to learn in the piano. I would definitely recommend nanci to anyone regardless of the age.

Latest Review: Jass is a fearless supporter of young musicians where others are daunted by the challenges of a chaotic and confusing industry. She's creating great opportunities for musicians to get out there and to actually get paid for doing what they love and giving them hope that they may even be able to make a career of it.

Latest Review: Jamie is a wonderful musician and teacher. We have performed together in the pit orchestra of several musicals (he was piano/director and I was percussion). We also performed as a duet for a wedding reception. I would recommend Jamie to anyone looking for someone who is both talented and a pleasure to work with.
