I am an adult who is taking piano lessons from Michael. At my request he helped me to learn some elements of jazz, including using a walking bass to add rhythm to tunes I play by ear. He also taught me to play new chords which also add interest to the songs I improvise. Michael is patient and has a good sense of humor. His lessons are both fun and informative. Michael's style of teaching reflects not only what the student needs to learn, but also what the student wants to learn. He respects the wishes of the student, but also makes suggestions, when appropriate.

Jeff Kazukiewicz has been teaching my son and two daughters piano and violin for about 4 years. One could not ask for a better music teacher. Jeff has a great passion for making music and attention-to-detail - other string teachers have commented on my daughter's form which she learned from Jeff. My son's classical piano has gone through the roof where he is now playing full-length sonatas and other concert-level pieces with excellent musicianship for his age. Not only has he inspired them, he also treats them with the utmost dignity and respect - he knows them, and can sense how hard to push without pushing them over the edge. My kids love practising and having their lessons with Jeff and he is a major contributor to their success, and his prices are very reasonable.

From the moment I met Bethany, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I had never sung for anyone outside my immediate family and friends, so I was very nervous. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and before I knew it, I was knee deep in my first voice lesson and loving it. I had so much fun and learned a lot that I didn't know in just one half-hour lesson. I look forward to many more voice lessons with Bethany and signed up for the next month already. She has great communication, honesty and a wonderful spirit. So happy I chose to take lessons with her!

My son developed an interest in Flamenco guitar from his time in lessons with Greg when he was eleven. Although he was a beginner, Greg broke down songs into small sections that my son learned and then was able to string together. A year and a half later and my son is now able to play many beautiful Flamenco songs. He loves playing guitar and is becoming a more and more skilled player. Greg is excellent at relating to my son and getting him interested in the details of playing Flamenco. My son looks forward to his lessons and I can hear him frequently laughing with Greg as he learns. I feel very fortunate we found Greg as his teacher.

Alice has worked with our daughter for a decade. She has tailored her approach to our daughter's needs, interests, and learning style. We have appreciated her thoughtfulness of our daughter's piano lessons, and her support of her other musical pursuits.

We absolutely love Ms. Pat. She has been teaching our son (7yrs. old) piano for the last year. She nurtured his interest by developing a stong sense of the basics as well as sharing age appropriate songs to learn and show off to friends and family!

About

Because my students smile during their lessons, not only when they master a skill, but while they work on mastering the skill. When is our next show they ask, after their recital. Even my very young students learned to play with expression.

About

I have been teaching for over 30 years, and 25 of those as a church musician/piano teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in music from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Currently, I have started a piano studio at the Wells, ME Congregational Church (this is for parishioners only), and I have students at the beginner to intermediate levels; though, I can teach up to the advanced level. I have taught children to over 65-year old adults. Piano teaching is a very subjective thing, and I pride myself on being able to deal with different ages and levels.
