- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$20 deposit for a consultation, can be in person, or over the phone. If estimates are agreed upon, depending on the size of the workload, there will be another deposit requested prior to doing the work. Once done, both deposits will count as part of the final sale.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Honestly, everyone has specific needs, so there is not 1 typical process for new customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, i wanted to be a website designer, but the more i got into ‘budget learning,’ i started taking apart older machines and creating something from just good parts. Instead of continuing my design education, i now work with designers as ‘the hardware guy,’ because i went too far down a rabbit hole and i have yet to get out.
