Introduction: I perform a combination of techniques and modalities to get to the core of your problem area(s). I have been told by clients that I go to the exact area that needs treatment without being told. I am so intuitive to the client's body that once my hands connect, I relieve the tensions, stress, and pain. Not only do they tell me that they feel the healing heat coming from my hands, but also the love for my work of massages. I love the fact that a person can come to me all broken, tired, or barely moving, but when I am done with them, they tell me that they feel like a new person. Some dance, run, jump, or just say can I take you home with me. I love to take a person on a one hour vacation, right on my table, and that's how they feel when I am done with them.

"Many people become proficient at what they do but few are able to master a skill. Louise Bannerman is a master of the art of massage. After her massage, my body is relaxed, my mind is clear; I am refreshed and invigorated. Louise's therapeutic massage has a Zen like quality. It is an experience that changes one's outlook. After I had received two of her massages, the chronic spasms that I experienced for almost a year in my left calf dissipated! I no longer let a week pass without receiving a massage from Louise. Each time I go to her, she knows instinctively which parts of my body are stressed and where to focus the most attention. I am a large man yet she has enough strength to use Swedish massage techniques on me. She also incorporates Oriental techniques and the most up to date methods of massage. I've known Lousie for years because of our affiliation with Motown Writer's Network. I only recently discovered her skills as a masseuse and am a better man because of them. Excellent care and treatment. I go to sleep every time she gives me a massage, which is supposed to be a good thing. Very capable, very caring, and extremely professional.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My school offers on-going classes for electives, and I can take up as many as I like. This summer, I am taking up a Bare Essentials class that teaches you how to do an one hour massage with your bare feet.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a young child, I loved to have my tall sister walk on my back. When I was older, I paid my younger nephews to massage my feet. I am a hugger and love the gift of touch. One day I ran into a massage school, the day I stepped inside...was the day I said this feels so right and from there it's history and 16 years later.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A friend's mom was in ICU with bags hooked up to her stomach and other areas. When I performed my Reiki services on her stomach area, the bag attached to her stomach begun to fill up with black toxics and poison from her body. After about an hour, the doctors moved his mom into her own private room.
