Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: LMC Designs is a full service interior design company that specializes in tile and stone design. CAD drawings are available to show detailed tile layouts for both the client and for the intstaller. Some examples of tile materials used in projects are porcelain, ceramic, glass, metal, cork, leather, and natural stone. What I like most about my job is that every project presents a new challenge! The variety in which each client desires something different, such as traditional style versus contemporary, and the relationship that I build with the client throughout the design process is very rewarding. As a designer, beging able to create a design concept for each client, visualize it, and then see it "come to life" is amazing and so exciting!!

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Interior design is often misconstrued with interior decorating. According to the NCIDQ website, "Interior design is the art and science of understanding people’s behavior to create functional spaces within a structure. Decoration is the furnishing or adorning of a space with fashionable or beautiful things. Interior designers may provide interior decorating services, but decorators are not qualified to provide interior design services. One primary difference between the two professions is that interior designers are responsible for the elements that affect the public’s health, safety and welfare. For example, an interior designer can evaluate wall finishes based on durability, acoustic properties, cleanability, flame retardancy, allergens, toxicity and off-gassing properties. An interior decorator can evaluate finishes based only on color, style and texture."
