My daughter came to Miss Debra with 3 years of violin lessons from 3 different teachers at a local music studio. Immediately, Miss Debra embraced the challenge of uncovering what my daughter knew and areas which had been neglected. By our second lesson, I already heard improvements in how my daughter played. I love Miss Debra's approach with her lessons. She focuses on my daughter's positives and gently corrects areas that need work. She makes learning super fun, and my daughter is excited to go back!

My 12 year old daughter had her 1st violin lesson with Ms. Stephanie. The instructor was great, very positive, kept it fun, interesting, and a great motivator. I would highly recommend her, and the GP Music Academy of Clinton Township even though based on just one lesson. I'm not a newbie to music/music instruction, so I feel this rating is well deserved.

Alec does so well with my daughter. She sometimes likes to try and do her own thing and instead of pushing her to always focus, which isn't always an easy task for a child, he'll at times encourage her free play to get it out and then she's back to wanting to learn. She very much enjoys going because he makes it a fun learning experience. She sounds better each time going so the improvement is astounding. I really appreciate how good Alec is with her and I've already recommended this place to friends based simply on how incredible he is.
