Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I provide guitar lessons for all ages (7 and up), all levels (beginner to advanced), and all styles (from blues to heavy metal). I have hundreds of satisfied students! Pricing and information are found below. (You can also reach me through my Facebook page for faster responses). Most guitarists spend several years falling over themselves on their guitar until eventually something clicks and they finally break the learning barrier that keeps them from seeing the logic of the guitar's fret-board. Still more never break this barrier altogether. This is primarily due to the lack of good teaching. At any skill level, all guitarist' know there is no limit when it comes to improving their playing ability. With both education an over 30 years playing experience, 20 years of teaching experience, I use college based core curriculum publications as the basis for all my lessons, and then teach my students how to apply them to their everyday playing. With this kind of teaching, the student can be assured they are getting detailed, insightful, thorough lessons that will progress them from a beginner to an advanced playing ability in the shortest amount of time possible, without sacrificing the integrity of the lessons. If you want cutting edge teaching for any of today's styles of music, that is more informative and less expensive than any store (I know, I've taught at most of them!), then contact me and I'll get you on the road to higher learning! A couple questions before contacting me: Do you (or student) play guitar now? If so, what is your (student) level? (beginner, intermediate, advanced) What style do you (student) want to learn? (contemporary, finger-style, blues, rock, metal) Electric or acoustic? Do you (student) want to learn other people's songs? Do you (student) want to learn how to write songs? Are you (student) looking to play in a band? Scott is definitely an outstanding teacher. Before I started lesson with Scott I didn't know what or even how I should practice. Now it seems like I am breaking through learning barriers all the time. If you want to play some swing'in blues, your favorite songs, or shred like your idols, then Scott is the guy to go to.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Lessons have been as simple as teaching a few chords, to teaching favorite songs, rhythm to lead, teaching pro level music theory for song writing and stage performance. From beginner to advanced, basic to pro level, I'll help you get there!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice I can give to a student is the following: 1) Don't skip practice time at home. 2) a half an hour a day is better than 2 hours every 3 days 3) make sure you have a real instrument (I can help you with this) 4) Don't compare yourself to others. It's not a race. 5) Keep it fun! Let go of the expectations, do your best, and above all enjoy yourself! 6) Take lessons from me! I'm experienced! Not only am I a great player, but I'm a great TEACHER as well! I have worked hard at BOTH so I can give my students EFFECTIVE lessons!
