I am extremely happy with the way my floors turned out and the overall job Wolverine Flooring did. Ericka was a pleasure to work with, she responded promptly to any questions and provided expert advice that was very appreciated. I will be recommending them to anyone with wood flooring needs in the future. I will also have them come back to do 3 more rooms I was not ready to have refinished and stained just yet. I had my floors stained, chose the High Traffic coating they suggested, and had a short window of time after closing on my house to get everything done. It's my understanding that Erica does not manage every jobsite, but she let me know from the beginning to get in touch with her about everything... And I did. She was timely and reliable, handled my concerns on the same day, and was available through text and email, too. The owner of the business was involved in our project and did a nice job coating the floor, but I am glad Erica was managing my project and the workers because she was more available and insisted on some things that wouldn't have happened without her! My advice is to request Erica to lead the crew for your project, she really cares and is focused on customer service more so than the owner and workers. My floors look great, too!

Pat was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual, provided accurate estimates and updated me quickly when additional work was needed to fix a subfloor issue. He was able to locate additional custom oak flooring quickly to match the original boards when we discovered the kitchen floor needed all new. It was only 1/4 done in hardwood under the ugly linoleum. This was not an easy job as they had to match as close as possible to the original flooring with new entry landings and kitchen. His crew was friendly and professional and the craftsmanship was great. The new natural finish is a very durable commercial grade Bona HD traffic satin finish and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

I had a small job, they treated me like I was a big customer. They were willing to start when I was ready and finished the main work up in 1 day, went back 2 times and finished the remainder. Done within 4 days of starting. Product did not smell terrible, and was well cleaned up. Nice people, nice job. I will rehire them when I am ready to do the rest of my house.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We look at every job individually & will provide a quote based upon all of the factors involved. Square footage makes up a portion of this; there are also many other considerations. We pride ourselves in being transparent, thorough and accurate - we will also discuss with a customer possible options available and possible hidden costs which could come up in certain instances.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk with the customer over the phone to describe what they're in need of, we come out to the project site to give an exact estimate; we email an estimate and follow up with a phone call. Generally I'm available throughout the decision making process to answer questions and make plans for the scheduled project start date. On the start date, we work together in the morning to get a access plan, move equipment in, and get started. Prior to the completion date, I'll be on-site to inspect things and cover any additional questions or concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owners have over 10 years of experience in hardwood flooring & have grown, learned, and educated themselves through many different avenues. Our crew leaders all have years of experience & are not granted a project until they have proven to be able to complete similar work in a satisfactory manner from start to finish under our supervision.
