I would highly recommend Brian Murray as a coach/trainer! I started working with Brian due to some injuries I had from running. My goal was to strengthen my legs/hips/glutes to avoid further injury as I was training for 2 big races. Brian listened to my goals and created a plan that helped me reach those goals. I worked with Brian for over 2 years. He's incredibly dedicated to his craft and really cares about his clients. Every time I asked him a question he replied in depth and usually providing the rational behind the way he designed my training. I really liked this! On a personal level, he's caring, polite and sensitive to my needs. This was important for me as I have a disability in my feet that was quite limiting to certain movements. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?The first session, which includes your consultation and assessment, is absolutely FREE through Thumbtack (it usually is $75). We know we're not going to be the perfect fit for everyone, but if you can leave better than you came in, even for just one day, we'll be satisfied. We want to work with highly committed individuals, such as yourself, who understand the value of top-notch training and coaching. We have repeatedly brought our client's success, and we want to be there when YOU crush your transformation goals too. Our programs run anywhere from $325 and up per month, depending on your goals and commitments. Our goal is to get you to the gym 2-3 times per week (at minimum). Thus, our pricing structure encourages long-term commitments and higher training frequencies per week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Good coaching requires more than just spitting out macros and reps/sets schemes; it relies heavily upon building relationships. So, it should come as no surprise that we want to be your friend. If you train with our team, then you should know we care about you and your success, and we're going to do whatever it takes to ensure you change, feel better, and make progress. Knowing this, you should expect to either sit down with us or talk on the phone, so we can discuss your goals and how we can best serve you as your coaches. This is 100% FREE via Thumbtack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Brian Murray, the owner of Motive Training, served as the Head Coach at Born Fitness and was the Senior Nutrition and Exercise Coach at BioTrust Nutrition (one of the biggest supplement companies in the world). He has been a trainer and coach for a decade and has held certifications through ACE, NASM, ONNIT, FRCms, Henselmans, and YogaFit. He worked alongside the likes of Tim Skwiat, Tony Gentilcore, Ben Pakulski and his Mi40 Team, Martin Rooney, Adam Feit, and many more, and he's a Precision Nutrition Level 2 (Pn2) nutrition coach and currently finishing a Bachelors of Science in Lifestyle Coaching from Arizona State University.
