- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If someone is bringing in instrumental tracks to sing to, I charge a flat $40, which includes all recording time, mixing and mastering. I will discuss price breaks for 3-5 songs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to sit down and talk through the recording process, especially if it's an artists first time. I'll walk them through the steps I take that might be different from other producers so they can feel comfortable in the studio.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always researching video tutorials on the latest recording/mixing techniques. Everything from a simple vocal to making beats for my hip hop clients. The better I understand the gear I use, the better my recordings will become.
