I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and received my training through Prairie Yoga Training program at Cascade Yoga Studio in Grand Rapids, MI. I currently teach yoga at various studios in the Grand Rapids area and truly enjoy teaching private lessons for beginner and advanced students. I also have a Thai bodywork certificate and am continuing to advance my knowledge in this area. Thai bodywork is a whole body treatment traditionally given on a floor mat with the client fully clothed. Thai bodywork combines passive stretching and movement of joints with touch techniques along the energy meridians. A Thai bodywork practitioner (such as myself) is sensitive to the condition of each person and delivers a graceful, nurturing and interactive treatment that uses conscious touch, breathing and rhythm. Thai bodywork achieves a therapeutic effect without harsh physical force and is safe and effective for most people. A complete Thai Bodywork experience uses rhythmic touch as well as cross-fiber stroking of the muscles and soft tissues of the body delivered in a variety of postures and positions. The effect is a deep relaxation and awareness of the bodys condition. I have a true passion for what I do and love to share it with others. My clients always feel relief and leave stress free from any one of my private lessons or Thai massages.
