I am an RYT certified yoga instructor. I can teach many levels in one class. What makes my instruction different is the Pure Movement Therapy cert. It has taught me how to recognize movement that could be potentially damaging from repetitive use. Pure Movement is working from a place of breath and ease and building strength from that place. I'm also focusing on the three major joints: hips, shoulder girdles, and knees. Through this movement, you become of aware of the compensation you are doing instead of using the joint or muscle we were meant to use. It is full of wonderful "aha!" moments. You will be amazed at how quickly you become pain-free and strong while working with ease in your range of motion. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to study under Susi Hately's Functional Synergy. My studio is small, so there are lots of one-on-one, and that's important when you are learning and practicing yoga. I do believe "we are better together".
