Tami has been my yoga instructor almost weekly for 4 1/2 years. I have also used her massage services during that time. I think my longevity speaks for itself. However, I would also like to say that she is passionate about what she does and her passion translates into excellence in the services she provides. If you are considering either yoga classes or massage services, I highly recommend Tami for both.

I have attended Joy Kakabeeke's Yoga classes in her Mattawan, MI. studio for approximately two years. I found her an excellent, knowledgeable, sensitive teacher. She is always on time and an excellent communicator, most encouraging about the Yoga class. I have recommended her classes to many friends, and acquaintances. What impresses me about Joy's classes is her emphasis on certain areas of the body at each class. Shirley Wise

I have been taking classes with Meera for 3 years. Excellent instructor! Very sensitive to different body types and physical differences. Good at listening and observing students to help them get the most they can from yoga. Easy to follow poses, flows and breathing techniques. Wonderful class for all levels of students!

About 3 years ago, they misdiagnosed me with ALS. While they still don’t really know what I have, they’ve decided is definitely isn’t ALS. But what I do have is weakened portions of my lower body, compounded by sciatica. As a result, going to a gym usually leaves me in tears and horribly embarrassed. Yet, I knew I couldn’t just sit stationary behind my desk for 8 hours a day and magically have the weaknesses in my body improve. When I heard about Molly, the way she’ll come to train me in my home and the fact that she was able to teach me ‘Yoga for the eternally unbalanced,’ I decided to give it a try. BOY, am I glad I did! She works with the limited exercise equipment I have in my basement: a yoga mat, a treadmill, some bands and a fitness ball. I’m being guided through Warrior poses and stretching exercises. She listens to what is too easy and what is too difficult in order to give me exactly the exercises I need to take me to the next level. Her knowledge is exceptionally expansive so she always has several exercises options to offer. After just two highly customized sessions, I was better balanced, less tight in the muscles and had stronger legs. I noticed that I didn’t have to hold so tightly to the handrails when going up steps for fear of tripping... and that I was able to travel up them twice as fast. I no longer had to watch every step ahead of me while walking, scanning the ground for tripping hazards. Having legs that were a bit stronger and steadier allowed me to pick up my chin and enjoy the sights around me a little more. Was I completely healed after two sessions? No, of course not. But I WAS convinced that there were things I could do to reverse my condition, and that together with Molly, I would to be able to do all the things I should be able to do at my age. She not only helps me strengthen my body, she is transitioning me into a state of renewed grace and confidence. I highly recommend her services!

I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and received my training through Prairie Yoga Training program at Cascade Yoga Studio in Grand Rapids, MI. I currently teach yoga at various studios in the Grand Rapids area and truly enjoy teaching private lessons for beginner and advanced students. I also have a Thai bodywork certificate and am continuing to advance my knowledge in this area. Thai bodywork is a whole body treatment traditionally given on a floor mat with the client fully clothed. Thai bodywork combines passive stretching and movement of joints with touch techniques along the energy meridians. A Thai bodywork practitioner (such as myself) is sensitive to the condition of each person and delivers a graceful, nurturing and interactive treatment that uses conscious touch, breathing and rhythm. Thai bodywork achieves a therapeutic effect without harsh physical force and is safe and effective for most people. A complete Thai Bodywork experience uses rhythmic touch as well as cross-fiber stroking of the muscles and soft tissues of the body delivered in a variety of postures and positions. The effect is a deep relaxation and awareness of the body’s condition. I have a true passion for what I do and love to share it with others. My clients always feel relief and leave stress free from any one of my private lessons or Thai massages.
