I was provided with both Henna art and facepainting at my daughter's Sweet 16th Dinner. My previous artist via Thumbtack cancelled in less than two weeks of the dinner and Funtastic Face painting saved my event. They were very professional and kind to my guest as well as brief with beautiful art and paint. I would definitely recommend this company again and will use them again for my son's 10th birthday this year.
Darlene is EXTREMELY helpful!!! She drafted a menu just for us and even added personal touches to tie in with our Paris theme. She is very hands on and will try her best to make sure that your event goes your way plus some. The staff was awesome, very nice, very catering... I was so skeptic, but in the end I was very pleased with everything and now I am not as scared to trust an stand-alone caterer for an event.
Me and my wife enjoyed our party we had the greatest party planner they were loving they were Caring and went above and beyond our expectations they truly are a blessing to have them plann your event they planned it like it's their own and we highly highly recommend this company we gave them five stars. We have given a lot of parties and hired a lot of party planners some we were please with some we not so pleased and some just sucked. It was a pleasure to work with this party planner here! They did an awesome job decorating for my mothers birthday dinner. It was a last minute decision to have someone come and decorate for this occasion. Even though it was last minute, they did and awesome job and kept in constant communication with me. Very professional and the decorations were great! I will definitely use them again.
Runda was great! She was easy to communicate with, was at our event and set up early and back early to take down! The balloon arch looked awesome! Couldn't be happier!
It was really hard to reach 2 Clowns. We wanted to confirm that they were going to make it to the event since we booked them a few months early. We tried via phone, Email and even had to find them through Facebook for a response. Other than that, everything was great.
The decorations we had for our dance were so great..and she was able to step in at the last minute after losing our original decorator. Great job!

Benita was amazing to work with! She was professional, timely and efficient. She put together my wedding reception ballroom for me while I was getting ready and the compliments kept rolling in on how beautiful everything was. I gave her a description of what I wanted and she captured what I wanted perfectly! I will post a picture when the professional photos come in but everything was amazing she definitely took a load off my plate and made my day a lot easier. I can't give this woman enough praise for making my day run smoothly! Highly Recommended!

I hired Modern Twist Events for my daughter's baby shower. I meet with the ladies at my home. I shared my ideals on what the decorating theme should look like( Lion King Theme) they assured me they could make it happen. I was told all I had to do was to show up at the shower. WOW!! much to my surprise they were right the ladies did a awesome job with the decorations and the candy table was yummy, My daughter and her husband were very happy. Thank you ladies.
Okay so, let's throw this out there, Heather Todero is my sister-in-law. And it is a bit suspicious I gave her all 5/5 stars. Now that we have all the reasons you might disregard this one review, let me tell you all the reasons you should memorize the "Heather Todero Events" name, and tell your friends while she is able to fit you in during the 2013-2014 wedding season. Heather has a driven, professional personality that leads the wedding day activities with guidance and direction, but she connects with her clients in a warm way that allows her to share in their wants and needs. Listening was big for me. She truly wants to see, grasp, and understand your vision, so she can in turn produce a budget-friendly beautiful rendition. She may be able to help design at times, but her specialty lies within her ability to find creative solutions for anything you've dreamed of doing. It's amazing. Heather saved the day by being especially organized as well. She has time tables and agendas, and she gets to know them backwards and forwards. She internalizes your vision so you can go about your day peacefully while she takes care of anything out of order. She gets to know you and your dreams well enough so that she can talk to vendors and coordinate the timing and activities of every party involved in the event, all without you even knowing. She does whatever it takes to make things go smoothly, and not your mother-in-law's version of smooth, or your crazy aunt's version of smooth, but your version. (Yeah, take a sigh of relief). After my wedding I found out my caterers set the tables to the banquet room up all wrong, all the vases had flowers but no water (granted they were plastic, but I wanted them to look real, okay?), and the ushers hadn't ushered anyone anywhere. But from my perspective the day was flawless, joyful and smooth. No one noticed the mistakes. She makes the planning easy, your day easy, but she also makes the hit to your wallet easier too. You're welcome;)
