FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive with national averages, and my murals usually cost $12-$40 per square foot based on the amount of detail and a few other factors. However, the more square footage the better the price will be per square foot. I have a $250 minimum per project. After a customer agrees to the quoted price, I take a 50% down payment. This will cover the cost of supplies and secure the date for the project. The second have of the payment is payed at the completion of the project. Custom paintings and drawings are priced in a similar way. However, these archival quality pieces hold more value and I tend to spend more time on them in the studio. These will typically run between $100 - $200 per square foot of canvas.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking art classes since I was very young. I studied through the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center for several years, and then I went on to studie fine arts at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit. I have also studied interior design through online courses with the New York Institute of Art and Design.
