Ema is one of the most knowledgeable teachers of Yoga around. One aspect of Yoga that Ema knows well is the contraindications for each Yoga technique. There real (and sometimes serious) contraindications for each and every Yoga technique, and many Yoga teachers are not trained in them. Ema is one of the few teachers able to safely teach advanced Yoga techniques.

Nick is a natural leader who teaches through gentle guidance. I have experienced 3 events led by him: a small cocoa ceremony, a larger cocoa ceremony and a yoga class. The cocoa ceremonies helped root me with communal and individual healing and connection that filled everyone, I believe, with rejuvenation. Nick's yoga class challenged me to focus and listen to my body. I felt physically and mentally stronger, energetically lighter and more grounded afterward.
I had Emily as a teacher for a private, one hour long yoga class with me and a friend. She was a calm, informative, and understanding and welcoming teacher. She gave us both individual attention and tips for our specific needs and bodies. Emily also helped teach me more about alignment, which was super helpful since I am still new-ish to yoga.
I completed the Reiki training thru Lisa at Spirt Rising yoga and meditation and I loved it! The training was very intense, not only book work but the hands on practice we great!! Loved it! And I use it when I teach yoga.
Darcy is an inspiring and mindful yoga teacher. I have taken a few of her classes at Red Yoga in Ann Arbor and each time I feel so great afterward. She helped me learn to stretch my back properly and work out excess tension. I highly recommend her as an instructor!
