- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am a current hospitality student so this leg of my education, I'm focusing on more of the business aspects and latest trends through field trips, seminars and current special events!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I would like to think my field chose me! At a young age I just gravitated towards it because it was exciting and it is a creative art! I also enjoy it because there are very few limitations(within reason) as to how many combinations of flavors and textures you can combine. So for a free thinker, like me, this profession is like heaven!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've provided catering services for bridal showers, birthday parties, private special occasions for couples and for funeral repast meal services. I have also taught in groups up to 20 in a classroom setting in a series of cooking classes through a detroit based business. I have also taught cooking lessons in the clients homes.
