- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I often run specials -one, ongoing, for a $125 Mini, which includes 10-12 fully-edited images. My basic rates can be found on my website, and vary depending on details such as location, makeup, and wardrobe changes. *Wedding packages begin at $1,200.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat everyone as a friend. I find that most people are a little uncomfortable at first, and with a friend behind the camera, that nervous feeling seems to dissipate pretty quickly. Pictures should be fun! Pictures ARE fun! I create a warm, friendly environment, and just go with the flow. So far, this has worked wonders. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Recently, I was honored with a scholarship to the College for Creative Studies. This was a passionate and bold move for me, after setting aside my pursuit of a degree in Behavioral Sciences from The University of Michigan. I wear many hats, and have many interests, but art, particularly the art of photography, is the language of my soul --or my favorite hat, so to speak!
