Josh has been teaching guitar and piano to my kids for two years. He is enthusiastic, creative, and hard working. The kids enjoy his lessons. They think that he is "cool" and they have learned a lot.
We found a great fit for my daughter and her vocal lessons! She walked out of her first session with new enthusiasm! Thank you Brian and Vivianna!
We hired Matt to provide piano lessons to our teenage son, who has a classical music background. However, our son wanted to add pop music to his experience. Matt has proved to be the right person for the job! Our son has already had 6 lessons with Matt and is eager to continue. Matt has the talent, skill and patience to give his students the best experience.
Our two daughters take piano lessons from Ms. Lin for over 7 years total. We are really glad that we found Emilie for both our daughters. Our older daughter Karen had several piano teachers prior to starting with Emilie. Karen was very frustrated with playing piano before she took lessons with Emilie. After a couple years taking piano lessons with Emilie, she had progressed tremendously and really enjoys playing the piano. Karen is going to be a 10th grade student this fall and will play viola in her high school symphony orchestra, which is the best orchestra among the three orchestras at her high school. She started learning viola in middle school. The reason Karen can learn a new musical instrument in such a short time is due to the great music theory and foundation she learned from Emilie. Emilie is a very nice, warm, patient and supportive teacher. At the same time she has high expectations for her students. Her teaching style includes a fair amount of music theory along with playing. I am amazed by the full attention she pays to details of playing techniques such as hand position and finger position. Emilie also helps and trains her students to play by ear. Ms. Lin always finds the best teaching approach to suit each student's own level and interests. She works very hard to keep kids challenged and motivated while making it very fun. She gives students choices when picking their pieces to play, which makes learning a more enjoyable experience. In each lesson Ms. Lin writes very detailed weekly practice instructions so that kids will know exactly what they need to correct and how many times they should practice. She also offers students to take musician stories and CDs home to read and listen. We highly recommend Emilie Lin's studio if you want your children to explore and deepen their knowledge of music and to have music as a life-long joy and gift.
After six weeks of lessons, I can say Rachel is a very professionnal piano teacher, who tries to understand my 8-year-old daughter's interests and teaches her music theory as well as techniques accordingly. She is patient and methodical.
I took piano lessons from Caren for almost 10 years! I always loved our piano recitals, but my favorite was creating a compilation of Christmas songs and having the best teacher help me put it all together and perform for friends and family. I still play this compilation today! She has become so much more that my piano teacher, she's my friend too!
My daughter has only had 2 lessons thus far, but so far, I've only heard positive remarks. She appreciates that Marian really listens to her (apparently adults are not so good at that).
Zina is passionate about teaching and very friendly. My kid looks forward to the music lessons every week.
Daniel is a wonderful Piano Teacher and awesome Piano player. He is very sharp on getting you to execute what he is teaching, and confident in his abilities. He has an excellent gift and brings out the best of whom ever he is teaching.
My 4 year old started her first piano classes at Fun and Learning Music Studio a year ago and has really blossomed. Ms. Sandy makes music fun and enjoyable while incorporating lessons with techniques and skills that are specifically tailored to one's age and ability. She has been very understanding and accommodating with our ever-changing schedule and makes payment for the classes seamless. Her years of experience with teaching children of all ages combined with her musical talent really makes her a wonderful piano teacher. Definitely a 5 star piano teacher.
Kara is an excellent piano teacher to my nine year old. She knows how to bring out the best in her, how to keep her engaged and challenged, and she will modify her curriculum and teaching techniques to suit your child. We are thrilled with our daughters progress and confidence, and that is thanks to Kara.
Having voice lessons with The Fielder Studio of Music is definetly an adventure to take. For me, I never have expected to touch base and explore the many things that make up singing. When meeting Mrs. Fielder for the first time, I was just expecting to go over music that I had brought, turns out she had me try many exercises, some being quite funny to laugh at, just to make my voice sound better. Not only did we experiment on that, but we also experimented on singing genres of music that I would never expect myself to sing. Nowadays I still take voice lessons and not only do I find the lessons to be an opportunity for improvement, but I also walk into the studio with a smile because it is such a welcoming environment once Mrs. Fielder greets you with a smile and carries a wonderful conversation with you to start of the day. I could never imagine where I would be without taking voice lessons at The Fielder Studio of Music
It is easy to see that Matt loves what he does when teaching piano to my son, and he is very patient with his instruction also.
