I worked with Rory on photography and videography initiatives for the 2014 Net Impact Conference. These are critical needs for our event, so our search for a service provider was an extensive one. Rorys enthusiasm, experience, and amiability made him stand out from day one. Rory went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the collaboration at all times. Not only are we delighted with the final products, but Rorys customer service throughout the project was second to none. He was always engaged, available, willing to go the extra mile, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I would highly recommend Rory for any photography or videography projects, and hope to work with him again at our event in 2015.
Hired this duo on a whim, on a-last-minute-pre-wedding-freak-out-rampage. For whatever reason, the spirit moved me and I just KNEW i needed my wedding on video. As this was a last minute adventure, price was a main concern of mine. However, my (now) husband and I agreed that nothing is worth paying for if you don't get a quality product. So with that in mind, we started really looking. So I placed a suggestion on thumbtack and about six or so businesses got back to me within half an hour. What stood out to me with this group was the availability of previous videos. Say what?! They did a video in some crazy off lands! But how will I know that they can do just a regular-joe wedding? No bells. No whistles. Just me, and those closest to me. I stated to my husband. So I decided to send them a few questions. We must have exchanged about 30 emails before we agreed on a plan and a price. They were quick to respond, they were patient, so patient with me, I asked about every little thing I Could think of. They tailored my wedding day package to my needs, to my price point, and to EXACTLY what would be meaningful to me. So alas, it was booked. WE MET AT THE CHURCH BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY. The place where the ceremony would take place. Who does that? They do! Because they are awesome! We ACTUALLY stood up and walked around and DISCUSSED where things should happen. We talked about who would be where and when! NICK TOOK NOTES! About my day!! Which, means nothing to them, but everything to my husband and I. They asked us questions like What do you want to ensure we get on camera? Whats important to you? Who is important to you? Who is not important to you? What time does your day start? Where should we be when? What are your family traditions? And honestly, I didnt know the answer to most of the questions. Most of the time I responded with whats normal?. But this gave us time to think about what we wanted and it opened a gate so we felt comfortable talking to them about what we were envisioning, and how our ideas coordinated with theirs. The day arrived. And so did they. Just as they said they would. Seven minutes early even. They were both very present with me (and my family) for all moments during the day (not on their phones, or distracted with other people or their equipment), but I never quite noticed them there. It wasnt awkward like I thought they would be. I hate being on film, and I told them that, and they just did their thing. So casually. So casually that after the wedding day, I got concerned that they had just left for the day because nobody could remember seeing them. When they finally gave me our first cut of the day. I cried. I cheered. I laughed. I cried more. I watched it 100 times in a row. I didnt sleep. I loved it all. They caught so many of the best moments. They caught so many of the unseen (to me) moments. They caught the right amount of perfect moments. For instance, our ring bearer, 2.5 years old. Had tantrum after tantrum at our wedding. They caught his attitude on camera, but made it cute and funny. It was all just so perfect. **I just tried to write a paragraph about things I truly didnt like about them and the service they offer, and I couldnt think of anything. I then asked my husband, he couldnt think of anything either. I cant say enough good things about this duo. They truly were the best decision I made for the wedding day (other than my husband). I find the video is more precious than the photos. And I believe most of that has to do with the professional work and relationship Nick and Sara made with my husband and I PRIOR to our wedding day. Friends and family knew theyd be video tapped throughout the day and knowing Nick and Sara were relaxed about the situation, made me relax, which made my friends and family relax. Sure, a lot of people own nice cameras and can make you a video. But these two have mastered the art of professionalism, and quality of work. I understand that we paid for a service, and they delivered EXACTLY what we contracted, but what they actually produced was way better than what I ever expected. They are an amazing company and I highly recommend them.
OMG!!! These guys are amazing, if you use anyone else you an idiot. Me and my wife watched the highlights reel and wedding video and were blown away. The drone footage was SUPER cool too. We got both of theses guys Blake and Michael for 12 hours, highlights reel hard drive for the extra footage and all the options. It was worth every penny and then so much more. Michael took photos and they are better than a lot of the photos our two photographers from modern wedding solutions took. These two were super professional and extremely non evasive. They not only blend in the back but completely disappear then when you watch the footage you will wonder how they got those shots. Like one they got when we were taking pics with guests was from directly under our hands it is one of the coolest shots I have seen. All of our guests were amazed by their drone. People still tell me (a month later) how cool that was. I feel I am just rambling now so I'll stop, but these guys were super amazing. If you have any questions or want references for them email me email@example.com
Cloud Media did a great job in shooting our annual gala for our non-profit. Photographer was on par when provided direction and interacting with our guests for the evening. The final images turned out great! Cloud Media was more than responsive when it came time to delivering the files via link to download. Also, knowledgable of file formats.
Paul was perfect as our wedding day videographer! He was always quick to respond to emails, communicated exactly how to make his work meet our expectations, and truly exceeded our vision for capturing the events of the day. I would hands down recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer. He was so flexible as things changed throughout the day and has been very quick to send us video clips to help us re-live such an amazing day. His work truly brings our wedding day back to life. His equipment is top notch to capture sound and he clearly invests time editing his work to blend together the perfect video. Hire him and you won't be disappointed! Thanks for being part of our special day Paul!
Mike is amazing. He puts you at ease, and lets you just be yourself. I'm not super comfortable in front of a camera, but I barely noticed the cameras! Thank you, Mike! Your the best!
I have seen a LOT of Matt's work, from his videography projects with local corporations, to his amazing photos of weddings, events, and his own adorable child. He is truly talented and extraordinarily personable and reliable. I recommend Matt as the go-to guy for photography/videography for your event. Not only will he produced an amazing finished product, but you will also really enjoy having him around during your wedding/event!
Please accept our sincere endorsement and highest recommendation of Rich Bowring as a potential vendor for you. Our experience with him, in every facet, was nothing short of exemplary. My husband Walter and I were married October 30, 2010 at St. Peters Church in North St. Paul. Our reception was at the Historic Withrow Ballroom in Hugo. It was a countrywestern/Halloween Theme! We did a middle of the road wedding--not an elaborate wedding, but not a small one, either. We made all our own invitations, programs, favors, bouquets, etc. and cut many corners when we were able. So when we were approached by Rich to do our videography, late into our wedding planning and budgeting, it seemed like just another expense. We now say it was the best money someone could spend towards a wedding! When the cake is gone, the gifts are opened, and the tuxes returned what is left? The video! Your wedding day is such a blur and goes by so fast its helpful to have video to fill in the gaps in your memory of that big day! And an "amateur" video shot by family or friends in the back of the church is farrrrrrrrr from what you will receive with Rich filming! Rich brought a friend along who helped capture many important moments as well, so it was neat to get different angles of each aspect of our ceremony. You will find that Rich does not just take "any video." He spiffs things up! His creativeness and in-depth knowledge for editing and incorporating footage from 2 different video cameras that were filming different views of the same moment was amazing and truly breath-taking. Know he spent hours and hours and hours on our final DVD product. He may even be able to make you some "bonus" footage as he had us microphoned up before the ceremony and caught some of our funny conversation/nervousness/excitement/panic of 'do I have time to go to the bathroom?!' before actually walking down the aisle. haha. We had only met Rich a few times at extended family gatherings (he is my husband's 2nd cousin.) He came a few weeks before the wedding to scope out the space, meet the music director, etc. Throughout the entire process Rich and his friend were friendly, timely, thorough, professional in appearance as well as personality in interactions with us, our vendors, and our guests. They were very non-intrusive with their videotaping. We watch our wedding video more often than we look at our wedding photographs. I cry every time I see it. Photos do not accurately enough catch those emotional moments of tears, or the laughs, the sound of your grandparents voice or a child talking that you will enjoy listening to for years to come. The biggest is the emotional vow exchange he caught during our ceremony as he had a microphone attached to my husbands tie--it comes through very clear! We especially enjoy playing our best man speeches over and over and over again! Our only regret is that we did not have Rich film our entire reception! He divided our video into chapters: ceremony, speeches, 4 minute clip, etc. When we shared the events of our big day with family and friends we always showed the video before the photos! We had extra copies of our DVD made for family members. Rich gave us an email link to share our wedding videos with family and friends who were unable to make it to the wedding. They truly enjoyed this--said it truly portrayed a joyous day and made them feel like they had actually been in attendance! Many of our friends who were already married said they wished they had hired a videographer to do their wedding after seeing our video! (YOU can also see a copies of our videos here on Rich's website if you click on "view full profile" at the top of his page and scroll to the middle of the page to the youtube video.) It is a 4 minute wedding day recap that he made for us just days after our wedding. Very neat snapshot/sneakpeek of what was yet to come. Huge surprise for us! He choreographed it to our first dance song "Soulmate" country song by Josh Turner. So very personalized to our wedding day! Here is a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=s8mnnkMrf_k Then, if you open this youtube video to a full page, you can also view "Annette and Walter Wedding Ceremony" on the far right, another chapter of our wedding Rich filmed for us. If you watch the last 2 minutes of the ceremony you will also see that Rich added a 2 min. "tease" video at the end with another of our favorite country songs: "One Boy, One Girl" by Collin Raye. Finally, here is a video of our first Dance. Again by Josh Turner Country Song "Soulmate" : http://www.rmmstudio.com/Video_Album/Pages/Walter_%26_Annette_first_dance.html Rich had offered to do a powerpoint photo presentation at our reception of our 2 families throughout the years, us growing up, etc. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and were unable to compile an album in time for him to do this, but I have no doubt this too would have been a great masterpiece. We highly recommend Rich not only because he is family but because he does a spectacular job! We guarantee you will not be disappointed with the final result. Please do not hesitate to ask Rich for our contact information if you have any more questions! Annette and Walter Licht, Jr., Woodbury, MN
