Jonathan has a unique gift of seeing people and really listening to your story. We all have a story, how we got to the point of looking for help, and what is, and is not, within your reach. While Jonathan can see more potential in you than maybe you can, he shows up meeting you where you are at. He is geniunely interested in who you are, and takes time to get to know how you tick. The first question he asked me when we met before I hired him was "who are you?" and geniuinely wanted to know (and we talked for a hour). You just can't easily find that. I'm a crossfit flunkie, have an injury, am about 100 lbs overweight, and if I wanted some canned training package I'd just go to the gym down the street. I need somebody uniquely capable, well credentialed, and experienced. I need somebody who totally gets that my mental blocks are just as important to see and address as physical limitations. Jonathan sees you, the whole, real you and works with it all. That is why I hired him.
Ginny Mackles is my Reiki Master, my therapist, my colleague and my friend. Her level of professionalism is exemplary. She is a wonderful healer whose intuition is always correct. I would highly recommend Ginny.
Though I had heard a great deal about her, I first met Kristie when I was a guest in one of her college classes. I was impressed by how she presented her information and then allowed her students to follow its logic and make their own conclusions, asking clarifying questions as needed. As a conference organizer, I am constantly seeking engaging educators who also have practical knowledge on a given topic. Kristie is one of those people. Kristie is so excited about her content, yet not overbearing. After a long, winding conversation during which we discovered our similar interests about children and food, I hired her to facilitate several sessions at our annual Child Care Professional Institute. Her sessions were among the first filled in fact, they were overfilled. Kristie brought an incredible breadth and depth of knowledge about how our food is processed from farm to table; what chemicals they often contained; and she pointed out several unhealthy ways we talk about food and our diets, ways that we had not previously recognized. She respectfully brought students through her process; I observed their changing faces as the light dawned. Kristie was incredibly well-prepared, bringing with her several food choice examples and multi-page handouts. Participants responses were overwhelmingly positive and they wanted more. Kristie taught three seminars at our event, spending the day sharing her extensive knowledge about how food affects our bodies, physically and mentally. Based on their comments and my interaction with her, I would highly recommend Kristie as a facilitator/educator for most any event where specific knowledge on the effects food and its processing have on humans, the benefits of knowing from where ones food originates, the psychological concepts involved, strategies for sharing this knowledge with children (and adults) so children and adults understand how to make healthy food choices for themselves, and where active participation by all is expected and humor is in abundant supply.
