Shade Tree says, "Mike to the rescue!Owner Mike at Deer Creek Turf did a fantastic job for us last summer (2022).We have had over 45 (infected ash) trees removed in the last 3 years which has ravished our yard. When the 2022 tree work was done, I seeded a 3000SF area and the hot drought would not germinate the seed (yes we watered 2x daily). I re-seeded and a gullywasher rain floated most of the seed into the street. I started over and put down 3" of topsoil and reseeded yet again and a super gullywasher once again floated the dirt and seed down to the street.With company coming, we called Deer Creek who came out with the harleyrake and put down a nice bed of hydroseed. You guessed it, another heavy storm put down 2" of water in an hour. An act of God once again destroyed our plans.I called Mike again and he came out the next day (Saturday) with a crew of about 5 and rolled out a beautiful layer of Anoka County grown sod.His rate was fair and I would use him again without reservation.One year has passed and the yard looks golf course fantastic and is surviving this years drought well. 2022 was a nightmare for summer sure, but Deer Creek Turf absolutely gets 5 stars!"See more

They did an excellent job on the mulching project that we received. They provided a complete estimate (for free) with plenty of mulch options to choose from, all at a very reasonable price. However, we also attempted to have some tree/stump removal done as well, for which they weren't as helpful. They provided inaccurate estimates, and ultimately stopped responding, so I had to hire someone else to complete the job. Would still hire again for mulching services.
